Did you and your mom not cook or do things together? My mom was in a wheelchair with MS but she still taught me how to cook even in her wheelchair. My husband is Italian and he always says that I make the best spaghetti sauce he’s ever had and his father thought so too and that’s thanks to my mom, may she rest in pease. He loves all my recipes which were all taught to me by my mom and my older sister.

@@kate_814 It's not just what they're doing in this video but even watching the show how they talk so openly with eachother. Having flowing, non-judgemental conversations. My mom always made me feel ashamed of myself and much more, so I closed myself off to her. I'm glad you have good memories with yours and can share what she taught you. So blessed ❤🥹

They're definitely really close with their mom like most Italian families are.

Actually, they where caning tomatoes 🍅, in order to make sauce at a later date .If you remember, Tre ended up not helping because she had her period & her parents were superstitions

@Christy Love whoa! Lol, yeah, memory is fuzzy over the few years 😉 well point being to share cooking with your kids definitely hits home with me. My mom and grandmother's did that with me, so I'd like to do that as well. For now, I just design houses and make nail videos 😅

It stems from a parent respecting their child! Human relationships has to go both ways to function, it can’t be onesided. Children are not suppose to obey and simply show respect, they need to be guided with uncondotional love, patience and respect and gentle guidance overall, in order for the parent child relatinship to be healthy and continue after the child is no longer a child or close to adulthood. You have parents who are terrible to their children and then wonder why their kids don’t want to be around them when they have grown up and can live an independent life. As a teen I worked a side job at a service home for elderly, and a few of them expressed regret for being abusive to their kids (emotionally and physically). They were alone and the kids only came to visit for short moments at their birthday or after Christmas. They finally understood that they had not raised their child ina home sith love and safety. It was a bit much for me to take in as a teen, but I listened to them sharing their regrets. Just listen to how beautifully Teresa encourages her daiger and guides her in the kitchen and allows her daugther to not know it all and listen to the positive words when she gets through the steps or when she does something well❤ She’s not mocking her or making her feel dumb. Then also add the phone call where she expresses how proud she is of her daughter infront of her daughter. This is also important to allow a child to hear their parent speak in positive words about them with others.

She is not a good mother especially when you put things in your kids head about their uncle. That’s evil
