Thenmatch should have emded 4-2 for Italy. The Refree made a shameful mistake in the fourth italian goal. Brazil had no defense, so it was not a complete team. Italy deserved to win in 1982, being a more solid and organized team.

Brazil had a very mediocre defence which only needed the right team to exploit it...hence Italy! If Scotland, USSR and Argentina managed to score against Brazil Italy knew they could do so aswell. Italy also knew their defence was better than those teams and so could limit Brazil's attack.
@@nicky29031977 Serginho and Eder were non-existent and the defence was cut apart nearly every time the Italians counter attacked. Of their four midfielders - Cerezo, Socrates, Zico and Falcao - Zico clearly did not like playing right up and being tightly marked by Gentile and little was seen of him. The other three though were quite superb - laying off 1-2’s, setting up through balls, running off the ball to create gaps and getting in shots on goal.

O time da Itália sobrou e o Brasil tava perdido em campo. Pelo gol perdido do Serginho deu pra ver o nível de afobação e o passe errado do Cerezo que resultou no segundo gol do Paolo Rossi. Marcação zero e defesa zero.
A seleção brasileira era uma máquina, exceto pelo Serginho Chulapa. Se levasse o Reinaldo, ele faria pelo menos 2 gols na Itália. Reinaldo foi o melhor jogador que eu vi jogar. Só faltou ele para o Brasil ser campeão do mundo
