Although I published articles at the time and afterwards shared a few of my favourite sketches from my big 8 week Europe trip last June-August, I haven't shared my sketchbooks in their entirety. I have decided to share video flip-throughs of all 6 sketchbooks - one for each major destination.
So here is the first phase of my trip: Italy.
These sketchbooks contain sketches from Milan, Vicenza and the Veneto region (part of the Palladian Odyssey planning week), Venice and a visit to Lucca to run a 2-day workshop.

Liz, I follow you all the time and really enjoy your work. I really like how you have slowed down the flipping through the sketch book. However, I need to report that the video is not in focus. I tried to enlarge to page size but still not in focus. I know you do quality work but thought you should hear this. Dottie Aiken

thats strange as the focus is the same the whole way through on the base video file. could it have been a loading issue? I just bought a new camera so hopefully that will help.

Beautiful sketches and colours too but the flip-through was a little fast for me so I paused the video at each page.

Thank you very much! In Argentina I´ve tried Lamy and Montblanc's black inks, but they are not waterproof. I´ll look for De Atramentis next time I travel abroad.
