I watched your tutorial while opening total war game Three kingdoms on my PC to learn your tutorial. It's like learning online, thank you for your lessons. 謝謝你!
Interesting. Due to the Furious Wild update, the Nanman factions are actually powerful enemies in late game. 1. If you play as Liu Bei, it will be necessary to confederate Cao Cao in the early game and subjugate Sun Ce during mid game. Cao Cao's commandery will provide a strong foot hold in the north while you focus expanding your dominion in Nanhai and Jian An. A friendly diplomacy with Sun Ce will give you a buffer between you and Nanman. During late game, due to Sun Ce's traits he will fend off against the Nanman while you're busying eliminate the rest of the Han Chinese factions, finally you will help Sun Ce conquer the Nanmans. 2. If you play as Cao Cao, it will be necessary to subjugate Liu Bei and Sun Ce with food trade deals in mid game, Liu Bei will act as buffer against Yuan Shao and Gong Sun Zan, while Sun Ce will fend off the Nanman. You seize the the opportunities to expand your territory westward and east ward. Then in late game, you help Sun Ce to fight Nanman and take control of south west, finally finish off the rest of the opponents.
Loving the series. Keep up the great work. Now I know it isn't in the spirit of this guide and it may be a bit cheese. But I find that sometimes its worth it to give the AI a largely deneficial deal. I sometimes will find a faction that really likes me already and then offer them some land as well as some food and some gold per turn to improve that relationship (I also grant them freedom in they are a client). I then the next turn try to get them to confederate. Some of the time it works. Sometimes it does not (which is how Liu Bei ended up a steamroller and stalemated my Cao Cao campaign). That being said I appreciate the numbers involved because eits something I was curious about but far to lazy to test.
Hi, loving the tutorials! @39:45 I'm not getting any Military Strength bonus for offering my father to Liu Dai (you get 11.7 here). What affects this bonus and could it have been patched since? Thank you!
Hey dude, always love your work. As we know we can get mounts, weapons, and armours via their respective item producing counties. Have you figured out a set way to specifically produce “followers” and “accessories” ?
One thing I've noticed that you haven't mentioned are Schemes. In fact, I'm not even sure if they exist in your version of the game as I can't see the Scheme button on the screen. So, they might be a new feature that has been added in the two years since this tutorial was made. I stumbled across them and there is one that reduces faction-wide building construction times by one turn (or perhaps to one turn) which meant that I was able to complete my first building in Turn 2 and get the construction bonus. Just wondered if Schemes are covered elsewhere?
Yes you are mentioning something that was added in patch 1.7 alongside the Fates Divided DLC which happened after this tutorial let’s play was made. There is a newer Cao Cao let’s play on that patch with that 200 start date on the channel for you to check out if you are interested.
Hi! I am currently playing as Liu Bei, there is a mission whereby I am suppose to confederate Liu Biao but no matter what I tried, his opinion of the deal is bad. Any idea or tips on what I should do? Should I give my territories just to make Liu Biao happy?
either you have to nurse his relationship with you until it reaches over 250+ depending on difficulty or the intention of the mission is actually to wait till Liu Biao dies.
@@SeriousTrivia Woah... 250+ is quite challenging. Hmmm, I might try trading some territories with him to make him happy. Thanks by the way. I have been watching a lot of your lore series as well and I am loving it. Awesome job
Hi Serious Trivia, Im at a point where lots of AI factions makes coallition with each other. Somehow Dong Zhuo is also still alive and to my suprise some AI like Liu Biao and Sun Quan coallition with him. Im playing as Cao Cao currently in coallition with Liu Bei and Kong Rong. Is there a way to break enemy's coallition?
While playing as Liu Bei, I aquired CaoCao's 'Trust of God' and 'Shadowrunner' after I defeated him in a settlement battle. The thing is - he wasn't dead. Any idea how this is possible? (I auto-resolved the battle so I have no idea if Cao Cao got defeated during the battle)
If you lose a battle there is always a chance you will lose an item. Otherwise the only other method is to capture and employ or capture and execute to take items off characters.
This was great! Based on what you taught me, I have to ask: why didn't at least check to see if Liu Dai had a concubine before signing the deal with Liu Chong?
its mainly a time thing, you should definitely do it, but checking everyone during a recording can be a bit dull so after sharing the idea, we just moved on
Hmmmmm, what am I missing? I’m trying to follow along and do trade deals in turn one before the battle. But I don’t seem to have access to the diplomacy tab. (Grayed Out.) So no quick list and no trading. Of course I’m none too bright…. So it might be that. :)
@@SeriousTrivia no mods. The button is there, just greyed out, almost as though I’m not supposed to be able to use it yet. I wonder if they’ve changed the mechanic somehow since you made these excellent vids.
I enjoy the idea of the game.. But the fact that so many people are searching for 10,20,30+ hour guides to be able to just get started to play is very telling.. this has got to be one of if not the worst introduction hours to a game i have ever experienced. the UI is an abomination. I understand all games are not pick-up-and-play, but requiring to finish a university lecture amount of hours just to start to enjoy the game is ridiculous.
