Just so you know Thraun has been wrong quite often and does not care to correct himself, so his videos aren't really a reliable source. Plus this is quite old news the WoW-Head article is over a month old as of release of this video and I am pretty sure everyone and their mothers has made a video on it already.

Very wrong, most WoW youtubers are normies, not AllTheThings completionist or FOMO addicts, they only see what's in front of them; vendor rewards and "zug zug how to increase your parses in a temporary troll game mode." If you search Trove Tally on RU-vid, there are only 2 videos about it. So the RNG weapons or this addon are hardly covered at all. If they were covered more, then this dog shit RNG would have been fixed a long time ago because this is the most egregious grind. It's time-gated when it comes to normal+ raids due to the daily lockout so if you start late without an alt army you're screwed. If you do a normal raid, then you're fucked from doing heroic so you have to choose. You have to be a specific specialization in raids to loot them at all. So only hunters can get bow/guns/crossbows unless they beg someone. And in raid finder it seems you can't even trade anything (though RF has no lockout, which is how all raids should be). Also I don't see what that has to do with Thraun. Thraun showcased the addon, that was his job, and it was useful.
