i'm not a kpop fan until the first time i heard her, i watch all her drama, watch everything about her, watched this video a hundred times. Watch her everyday. Just want to see her singing every single day.
IU's "Love Poem" is one of the rare songs that I absolutely treasure yet terribly reluctant to listen to because of its emotional impact. It is just too strong, honest and saddening for enjoyment. It calls for special mindset to experience her singing this song.
It is one of my favorite songs of all time and I totally get your emotions. It hits me hard every time. IU has - as I said in the video - one of the most touching voices for me. She has something that immediately goes past all senses and hits my soul directly.
Seungmin from Stray Kids was part of a collaborative 3-member vocal unit called Team Mayfly, who performed / competed at KINGDOM: Legendary War in 2021. The other two singers in the Mayfly unit were Eunkwang from BtoB and Jongho from ATEEZ. Team Mayfly competed against the 6-member vocal unit called It's One, which consisted of members from SF9, IKON and THE BOYZ. Team Mayfly won the vocal competition. Their version of "Love Poem" is stunning. In the video, Jongho is on the left, Eunkwang is in the middle and Seungmin is on the right. The most magical song for me. It was so comforting when I first listened it and pull me up from a serious healthy problem immediately. IU is a guard angel.
This song is comforting fairy tale all i imagine a lonely sea shore in dusk I'm walking alone. And she is just behind me singing really till the end. I really never wanted this song to end.
This is the thing with IU this song and the similar goes for "my sea" and "dear name", I always cry when I hear her singing these, But that not the point, the point is after that I feel much better, so it's cleansing, healing call it whatever you want but it goes deep inside you and after that you feel better and it happens every time!
I'm so impatient to hear you react to team Mayfly's version with Seungmin from Stray Kids, Jongho from Ateez and Eunkwang from BTOB. A very different take but just as emotionnal as IU's original. Their three voices are extremely different from each other and blend so well together, they created a masterpiece. I come back and listen to it almost daily. It is absolutely beautiful, in all aspects (the visuals of their performance are stunning, very unexpected).

A absolutely stunning song and performance. This Thursday September 28th and Saturday September 30th we need to support IU by showing up for the release of her movie of her Golden Hour Concert. Especially IU fans in the North America. This is an excellent opportunity to show IU that she has a large and local fan base here. It might be our best chance to convince her to plan a tour to North America. Regal Cinemas has the largest number of screens follower by AMC. You can go to either of their websites to find a location near you. There are only 2 showings, this Thursday the 28th at 7pm or 7:30 pm and Saturday afternoon at 2pm. We need to get butts in those seats.
