Girl I couldn't help but crying too This song is so beautiful! IU always makes me feel all the emotions through her voice, I love the lyrics and this MV is like a movie. it made me so sad 😭 And actor Kim Taehyung??? Both did it amazing! They looked so happy and so cute 😭💜 This MV is truly one of the most beautiful and well done videos that I've ever watched for a long time. IU can't hear and one of Taehyung's eyes can't see. That square seems to extinguish those marginalized people, and that camcorder shows them in a world where they are not discriminated against. 😭 That's a theory but it's still so sad :( OH WHEN I CATCH THAT FCKING CUBE

the message is how our world will never be without hate, discrimination, injustice and violence, but if we continue to love each other (e.g. IU with Uaenas), our love will see us through to the end. Our love will keep us together until we fade away. 🥲So instead of being able to escape, they are fading together. The cube 'Nemo' represents the discrimination towards marginalized people (symbolized in IU being deaf and Taehyung being blind in one eye). They stayed together till the end with their love sustained. LOVE WINS ALL!

I love your honest and sincere reaction Erika. You got me same like IU and V got me. I share your understanding and emotional take on the MV. They protect and hang on us to each other up to the end ( giving up their lives). So the cube ( prejudices set by the world around them)did not win over them. It was their love ❤️ for each other that won against “hate” or those who do not accept them that won in the end….Till death do us part!!!!

You caught a lot, but you should rewatch it with a focus on details and symbolism. If you missed IU's final gesture of love and their respective disabilities, you missed a lot. Then you'll realize you actually didn't cry enough

I could be wrong, but the people in the black, are they supposed to represent hate and discrimination? That's how I read the MV. The song itself is quite wellmade. It hits all the right notes to give you the feels.
