How to tell religious people are crazy. "We pray that we get a youtube channel back" I am sure if there was a God he would for sure want youtube for all! Just because you want more and more money, God probably wouldn't see it that way if he does exist.

RU-vid/Google is pathetic when it comes to this sort of thing. How can the BIGGEST video platform on the planet get hacked sooo easily I remember I lost my channel due to my nephew(he was 4) constantly clicking on my videos so according to “RU-vid” I was trying to acquiesce more revenue illegally. Lost my partnership, lost all my revenue, etc. I wish you the best with this Rick so fuckin sad that RU-vid has ZERO stop gaps from nonsense like this happening. This happened to GameXplain last week. Because they are a large channel they got it back quickly. Hope yours will be back soon.

Really hard to get it back - one of my clients lost 3 of their 15 year old channels. I fought hard with youtube for two months, they only deleted the channels at the end. Its so hard to get your own channel back but a hacker can just take it in seconds. Google security is a joke

I think it was GameStop who hacked your channel. It was probably cause’ you flipped all their Pokémon games.

RU-vid can't stop the scammers but they can stop you from posting 5 seconds of a copywrited song before you even upload it.

I saw you were live, clicked-in, crypto ads/propoganda started playing - and I saw that I was subscribed to some MicroStrategy thing. I immediately unsubscribed because I was worried it was some kind of weird bug running through accounts or something. Sorry to hear about this happening to you, sir. I've been watching your content for about half a year now and I really do enjoy digging through your video archive. I hope they can fix it, and I'll definitely re-subscribe once things are fixed on your main channel.

This just happened to another channel that I watch and youtube got it back, they always get it back. This happens a lot.

I just heard what happened to you and it's really messed up to get hacked by scum bags who apparently have absolutely no life but to prey on good decent hard working RU-vidrs. Within a week I had my Bank Account, Facebook and Phone all hacked... that was about 2 months ago and still working on getting all my money back. Had to redo EVERYTHING plus file a report at Social Security in case they accessed my SS #. Crazy times.

That's the scary thing about RU-vid hard to get any help if there is a problem. It's a good thing you have this backup channel, or what I like to call a life raft channel. I think all big RU-vidrs need multiple life raft channels in case something like this happens. But, the good news is I think you can build this new channel up pretty fast and have a loyal following!

SAME exact thing happened to me last January- it was so horrible and stressful. 100% Twitter\X is the way to go to get their attention, the more eyes the better helps for sure. The lack of any sort of dedicated email or phone # during stuff like this adds so much to the stress, they need to really do something about that and this issue as a whole. Once they see it on Twitter someone from YT will be in contact with you and you’ll get a form to fill out with as much detail as possible to prove you’re the owner and restore your channel. My channel was completely removed too and luckily everything was able to be restored with a few minor hiccups and (sadly) the loss of a lot of subscribers that I’m just now recovering now. I think you’ll be fine for sure! Good luck ✨

This sucks man and YT's CS doesn't do much to help. Gotta really lock down your cyber security in the future. Someone on your team probaly either clicked a link or opened an attachment which gave this Scumbag access to your device and now is the architect of this nightmare. Hope this works out for the best, but if not, most of us will follow whatever channel you make. This isn't the end, just a really rough test.

In my opinion, RU-vid needs to be made to have more hack proofing, I mean if everyone else from PlayStation to small businesses can get hack proofing then what’s RU-vid’s reason for not doing that? ( note : this isn’t meant to offend anyone at RU-vid company-wise , but to note an obvious flaw in their programming systems)….

Sorry don’t feel bad for this big time RU-vidr after meeting him at a video game con and than seeing how he truly is behind the scene.

The lack of security, customer support and the sheer amount of scam bots in the comment section has completely ruined RU-vid. I barely use the it anymore. Crazy enough, Google wants people to pay for this garbage.

Please try to help others avoid this happening to them by providing more details on how this happened. Did you have two factor authentication enabled (if so, do you have any idea how the hackers got your code), etc...

I'm fan of The nes Pursuit from day one. Years in to it Riff Decided to Delete all of he's youtube video and they were lost ever. Then one of has fan's had made copies of the video's that's how he get it back. ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR SUFF .

Look up Adam Koralik’s gaming channel, he uploaded a video explaining how he was hacked and got it resolved

I've been a fan of yours for about 2 years and when I saw this happen when I got the notification about your channel being live at first I thought maybe you're doing a live stream cuz you were hunting for games or stuff at the shop but when I went on the app and saw the title of the live stream I knew you had been hacked I did not unsubscribe as I am hoping you can get your videos back hopefully everything works out for you your family and your friends I love watching your channel it reminds me so much of my childhood
