Replace thermostat, look for any coolant leaks, low coolant or bubbles in the radiator or overflow tank. Check if both hoses are hot after you run the car for a while if one of the hoses is hot and another one is cold replace thermostat and water pump.

Some "fuel dilution" of engine oil is "normal" and "inevitable". "Excessive" fuel dilution is always due to "operator error" of excessive idling, improper engine/application "specs", improper/insufficient maintenance/service per the OEM manufacturer's "instructions", damaged/broken parts resulting from one or more of the above, "power" modifications or choosing a "shadetree" mechanic/shop for service, use of "will-fit" aftermarket or incorrect OEM parts, improper operation/break-in/warm-up/cool-down or worst of all "deferring" recommended/required maintenance/service/repair/replacement of "wear" parts because the engine/vehicle "runs fine" at the recommended/required hours/miles of service/use. And of course buying a used or "new" engine/vehicle from a "private party" who can't/won't provide full "documentation" of the engine/vehicle and its "history" and/or full "OEM-approved" service and parts support. Every OEM publishes "specifications" for "negatives" like oil consumption, fuel dilution, crankcase "blowby" etc and "oil sampling" is the only way to accurately and correctly check and verify fuel dilution and of course that's only possible when the engine/vehicle are in "good condition" otherwise and are properly operated, serviced and maintained. And one more thing. The lack of spark plugs, distributors, carburetors etc does not mean diesel engines are "maintenance-free" and that they never need "tune-ups". Quite the opposite, the diesel fuel injection system IS the engine ignition system and pumps/nozzles/injectors are subject to a much more "violent" and "dirty" operating conditions than spark-ignition engines and components and have to let in fuel, keep out "carbon" and "fire" and are creating up to several thousand psi of "injection pressure". 1500-2000 hours between "injector" or "nozzle" removal, testing and inspection (an "injector" combines the "injection pump" and "nozzle" and both controls fuel injection "timing" and "quantity" while a "nozzle" is only the delivery "valve" for the "injection pump" which "times" and "meters" fuel injections "externally" and "nozzles" typically require more frequent "service" than "injectors" because they are not "adjustable" installed in the engine) is fairly typical with "heavy-duty" diesel engines subjected to varying engine speeds and loads and typically "nozzles" will fail at least the "valve opening" or "pop" test and will have to be "rebuilt" or "replaced" in order to restore proper engine injection "timing" and "metering". Because even though they're not directly "injecting" the fuel and have no pump and aren't "timed", the "valve opening pressure" or "pop" pressure is the result of their internal "restriction" and the injection-pump "flow" and when they get "weak" fuel injection begins "early" and ends "late" with the fuel being "squirted" instead of "blasted" into the engine cylinder whenever the engine is operating at less than "full speed" and "full load" and "idling" engines tend to be "overfueled". Then AT "full speed" and "full load", the "low" VOP or "pop" pressure can "underfuel" the engine because an "early" and "late" injection doesn't occur at the optimum time for full fuel "burn" and "power". Low VOP and the issues it causes eventually cause "plugged" nozzle "holes" and/or leaking delivery valves and/or "carboned-up" tips that can cause catastrophic engine failures or "just" things like fuel dilution. No only "how-to" video from a "master mechanic" who is spending his customers'/employers' time and money to make "how-to" videos for "free" is giving you anything worth a dime more than what he's charging for it and if he/she is really interested in HELPING YOU he/she will respond to your "questions". These videos are "infomercials" for IVECO, which does NOT have a "sterling reputation" for engine quality/durability/reliability in the only "market" where diesel engines/vehicles/machines are TRULY subjected to "real-world" conditions on an ongoing, long-term basis "industry-wide". Which is the UNITED STATES. No other country has more "owner-operators" of diesel engines/vehicles/machines and a wider variety of "applications" and "operating conditions" than the U.S. In the U.S. an "OTR" truck can literally go from below-0 (Fahrenheit) "arctic" operating conditions to "desert" heat conditions 100+ degrees hotter in HOURS "crossing the country" on a "coast to coast" run up through and "over" the "Rockies" and then to the "west coast". And "OTR" trucks/engines are the LEAST "tested" vehicles/engines in the "diesel industry" in the United States. Marine, construction, agriculture, "LTL" and "vocational" trucking and "long-distance" freight/passenger rail etc all "work" diesel-powered vehicles and their engines much "longer" and/or "harder" than "OTR" trucking does. If you have questions about your engine make/model and need to go to the internet to find "answers" period or at least ones you can "afford", you probably have more "problems" with your choice of make/model of engine than even OEM-trained professionals can "solve".
