Thanks for the video -I started airbrushing a decade ago and after a couple years I went back to oils and now fully setting up a serious air brush station in my studio and of course my needle was stuck- the video helped me do a full breakdown beside unsticking my needle - thanks very clear and helpful

Great video, thanks a lot! Could you please make a video in which you explain how to clean the creos ps 771? I know thst you enjoy that brush and i have noticed that there are not that many video that talk about the cleaning process of tjat particular airbrush.. What I'd like to understand in general is which parts I should disassembly/clean regularly (at the end of each painting session) and which ones just once in a while.. 🙏🙏🙏 Thanks again for your grest content!!

I'm grateful for this video to learn the parts of an airbrush and how to disassemble and reassemble them. I have a different airbrush... the iwata custom micron takumi... but I am guessing that it looks kind of similar to the parts in this video.

You always do such cool videos - thx! I would be courious if you can do one comparing the top models of IWATA. What is really the differene of a IWATA Custom Micron 0.18 versus 0.23. Is there any?

Thank goodness for your video! Day 2 of me owning an airbrush and I accidentally disassembled part of it and didn't know how to put it back together until I saw this video! Thank you soooo much! I have a question please... I have an iwata micron takumi... every day after I use it... should I disassemble all of the parts so it can dry out after being wet from cleaning? How thorough a cleaning do I need to do to the airbrush every day? Thanks.

I have no air brush yet still investigating but if all guns are like this I doubt I'd ever be able to do it. Looks very complicated. Tobias Eloy AZ

Hi Carsten. So many vidoe's, Im miles behind and must catch up on them all! This one is great, very helpful. I wanted to ask you though, doing this on an eclipse, there seems to be a seal called 'Packing Fluid Needle (O-Ring)' (Part- 1502) fixed in by a Needle packing screw (part - 1251) which is on/in the end of the Needle Chucking Guide. But I cannot see how to get to it or get it out. The trigger is held by the little tab (its called a auxillary lever) which is also fixed onto the end of this part, presumably this packing O ring is inside of there. I cant find one, but have you done a full breakdown Vid on an eclipse? I have several of these, this one is the HP-CS but I have others with the small nozzle called HP-B Plus. They all use this packing O-ring system though on the rear end. My Micron of course has the seal inside the main body as per this video. Anyway! Hope you and the family are keeping safe :) Phil

I wonder why it is that so many videos say they recommend this or that and don't do this or that yet the wrong thing or unrecomended is what is demonstrated in the video with the reasoning this is a demonstration video, wouldn't that be the best is to show the correct methods !?

What is the thumb screw adjuster for under the bowl?

great question, that is the air flow control controlled by the mac valve, this can be dropped down to an extremely low psi and if you over thin your paint it allows for super fine detail.
