Quit you job??? Maybe its better for us... more videos. Hope you bought this new airbrush in order to paint a reallistic Golden Dorado you wanted to do... 🙃
I've been thinking about upgrading to a Micron for detail work. Your comparison video makes a strong case for it. Your skills, as always, are amazing. Thanks for the vid!
Big difference but I do like the over spray shading with the old one looks good on the fins can't wait to see the details with the new one. Also I tagged yourself on one of my Instagram stories a pic of a banksia nut dont know if you've seen one before a really cool piece of wood. Stay well.
Always enjoy your videos but doing the voice over while filming seems to give the video a more personal feel. I thought it was great. I always pick up small tips from your videos that show a new/different way to build baits than what I do.
When you’ve maxed your air brushing skills and the only way to get better is to upgrade your brush. Good to see the difference. I’ve been using a cheap brush and may have to consider the Hi-Line. By the way, I built myself a new turner on the weekend which your design had inspired. Thanks for the inspiration and congrats on quitting your job… if congrats is appropriate? Full time bait making 🙏🏻
I’ve used the Siletaire 30 (1/3hp) and 50 (1/2hp) Super Silent air compressors for years with no problems. They are whisper quiet and are nice if you’re working in an environment where noise is a problem/annoyance. I just like the quiet to work by. Well worth the $$ in my opinion. Try it, you’ll never go back to a noisy compressor.
I never even been in the same room as a Micron. They say the GSI Creos PS-771, which I have, sprays just CM. I have however used the HP-C High Line, and what else can you say about it other than it's phenomenal brush.
The MAC valve is a simple needle valve, just like the needle and nozzle in your airbrush, the MAC valve controls air flow, not air pressure, only the Regulator controls air pressure.
Just gave my hpch a massive birthday last week. New nozzle, caps and needle. Been serving me flawlessly for 8 years. Been thinking about a custom micron but concerned about the smaller nozzle size as I already have issues with flow in the 0.3mm using createx paints. Certain colours just don't like being reduced heavily enough to flow perfectly particularly white.
Hi, do you know how to make those hollow body weedless frogs, I've tried the liquid latex method on a deps barisky frog blank that I made but it is not going to work because of the abnormal shape, so I'm clueless to how to do it. I would love some feedback!
I have never made one but I assume that it's done in a normal mold with in inflatable mold insert that is just deflated once the casting has cured to create that hollow cavity
@@SolarfallBaitsI've also thought about it but I think it's a difficult process. I appreciate that you always answer my comments you have no idea how you help me sometimes!
Taking into account the state of the CP-CH airbrush this test has no credibility whatsoever. It also shows that you do not service your airbrushes well. The way you are handling the CM-C you will damage the needle the 4th or 5th time doing so for sure.
I've seen artists with airbrushes way dirtier on the outside than his do jaw dropping work. He said he keeps the internals clean so who cares how dirty it is on the outside.
@@SolarfallBaits its just too expensive for what it is, there are FAR cheaper alternatives out there that really function the same or better, I realise that's hard to admit because you've bought one..but sadly it the truth 😔
@@livelongandprosper70 I actually like my micron better than my highline. It just performs better, the paing control is better and I feel like in my use it's more versatile. That being said there are other perfectly good airbrushed that do the job just fine.
