Guillaume David is such a talented composer! Mechanicus had some of the best music in any game I've played, and I'm so glad he's working on IXION.

The music from this trailer is absolutely wonderful. Sooo fitting to the setting and the game as a whole. I hope it will be present in the OST

As someone who's a huge sci-fi and space games, you've absolutely got my attention with that UI design, setting and especially that music! Looking forward to giving this a good during the demo but I'm definitely going to be keeping a close eye on this and I'll definitely be covering it on my socials!

Frostpunk + Startopia + Expanse? This is definitely staying on my wishlist. Gotta say I was floored by the ruins at the end of the trailer. Your initial teasers indicated the player station would be the big thing, but humanity had a even larger presence further out beforehand? Color me quite interested in how this could play out in hopefully a lot of permutations. You planning on a strictly linear story or a sandbox or something inbetween for this?

The music from 40K Mechanicus was one of its best features and I love hearing that style bleed over into this game. Also - the game looks very interesting and I can't wait to try it out. If all the pieces come together well, this could be a big deal.

Homeworld - "chillout edition" vibes hits so hard! I really like it!

Guillaume David absolutely killing it. Lorn meets Boards of Canada done with that Mechanicus feel in outer space. He is much less known than he should be. Just an immense talent.

Just please...... please release the soundtrack. It sounds so amazing. Been listening to the Vhole jump sequence every day since the demo released.

There is a really old PC game called Alien Legacy (like 90s era) where you control this big ship loaded with humans stuck in cryo and your job is to basically colonize the planets in a new system. You can wake humans as needed to fill jobs, or build robots to do the work for them. You can create vehicles that act as supply lines to transport goods from colony to colony, or to the ship, etc. You can build factories and things. Meanwhile, you're also exploring and figuring out what went wrong with the previous attempts to colonize this place. It was so neat because different planets had different resources so you had to setup all of the logistical stuff to make sure each colony had what it needed, not to mention keeping your mothership working. I have always, always, always wanted a modern remake or some game similar to that. This game kinda feels like it. Sending out probes to find resources, sending out mining drones to gather them. Making factories on your space station to build stuff. Exploration, building, growing, and so on. This game makes me very interested.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, and I've made a similar statement in the discord for IXION.... I'm pretty sure the name of that massive ship at the end is Etemenanki, as that is the only word in the English dictionary that starts with Etemena-. The definition of this word is less of a definition and more of a place. It was a ziggurat built toward the deity named Marduk. Considering in the demo there's the Marduk Council.... I think I've got it right on the money, unless you all at Kasedo Games made up a word that sounded nice. If so... can't say I blame you. But I'm pretty sure I'm right, given the shared words and background.

This looks and sounds so good! Reminds me of Homeworld, especially that shot at the end.

Looks incredible, I love hard sci fi so trajectories across the solar system, on route hazards, city building and space. It’s like the game mentioned and I love startopia so I can’t wait. My only critic as such would be I hope the construction animation is a little more detailed and I don’t like how the transports/ car things just vanish. But apart from that I’m excited. It would be cool to have subsurface transport as well as roads and if as indicated by the end there are larger stations (like what inspired them in their developers video which are miles in size) that would be a dream

Comming from Mechanicus, this is like I never left the Mechanicum in the first place! All the fancy statistics and grimdark rates of survival puts me right to the center of a Mechanicus exploratory fleet on the verge of the universe using tech to survive the darkness at the edge of the imperium of man! I love it!

A hidden gem. Just finished the game and I'm awestruck. The story, the atmosphere, the music. Everything is 10/10 here. The one thing you may not like is the difficulty. For a story rich as this I wouldn't make the game so difficult. I had to customize my gameplay a lot to make the game playable. But no regrets! The story haunts me for days now, I keep looking for theories and such! :)

This might dethrone frostpunk for me if everything runs smooth, looks like there alots to go further in this since the final in the teaser might lead to more ruins or maybe some other fleet ?! Who knows ! Deffinetly in my wishlist and following, ill be runing the demo and more ! Soundtrack dlc in the futur i hope !

Others are drooling over the music and gameplay and here I am loving the fold jump animation.

Looking good. This has a great feel to it. The music, UI, and mechanics looks excellent.

I can and will watch the VOHLE jump entry on repeat. The music, the sounds, the computer's voice, the look, I feel like I'm a kid again seeing my first game.

Gameplay looks very neat, soundtracks gives me the chills, and the setting begs for tons of fan fiction. already on wishlist, any clues about when this year it will be released?

Played through the demo twice, to make sure I didn't miss testing out ALL the things. Fantastic. Would pre order even! I can't wait till this is out, even if it's as an Early Access game, it's that fun!

I was literally looking at Guilluame David's Spotify page wishing he would come out with another album last week. I'm not big into games like this, but I am so HYPED for the soundtrack when it comes out!!

I've put so many hours into Banished and Frostpunk. The scifi setting here adds so much. I'm soooo hyped!!!!

Played demo. Wishlisted. Tracking Kasedo games since Mechanicus - one of my favourite Warhammer 40k games.

it's been a long time since i've been this excited for a city builder game. capturing that frostpunk vibe certainly helps, but that wonderfully innovative setting and story is really what reeled me in. great work and can't wait for the full release!

I'm not a huge city management gamer, I like some. But the entire design here grabbed me, and that music... Needless to say the combination of Frostpunk meets The Expanse vibe I got here has me and I'll be playing this as soon as I can.

pretty awesome...might want to look into for any future videos toning down the background sfx and music for when there is speaking. i thought it was lousy spakers on my phone, then switched to pc...and yeah, the background audio drowns her out a lot. the visuals though...you did a great job. the white sun is perfect, so many games make it yellow/orange to match what's seen on earth. though i gotta say, worst place to deploy solar panels in what looks like a dust/debris field >.>

Not my usual game genre but wow that music gave me chills. I like to think I can pick out analogue synths from plugins, and if this is solely plugins I'll eat my headphones. Any chance you could give me the name of the mastering engineer?
