i agree with you to a degree. i usually set out to make tunes (and glitchy ones) with the ideas already in mind, while this plugin sort of relies on what you've already made and lets you use preset glitch effects to make them better. stutter edit does in fact make things a thousand times quicker though and with respect to this tutorial freddy still manages to utilized a large amount of creativity when deciding what to layer or what to replace or what to scrap completely. plugins are there to make life easier and make the process quicker, which i think this plugin does amazingly. i'm sure you'd find that a huge amount of tunes you already love and enjoy have this plugin used somewhere in them, but you probably already know that. the tracks that the plugin mess with already have the creative input necessary in my opinion, then stutter edit chops them up nicely and cleanly. no offense to your comment whatsoever hymerej c, just my thoughts on what you said.

Adam Le Mieux well worded and I can't argue completely. Also anything is nice when used for sound design. I just fear anyone doing mindless button pushing is all.

***** there's definitely a huge difference between composing a tune, and laying a bunch of tracks down then making a plugin do the rest, but then again that's what technology is for! to take the ifs ands or butts out of the equation and automating things in ways we can't always come up with ourselves. i'm like you though, i can't really see myself using this plugin to its fullest potential because i myself enjoy more so of laying things down that i've already created in my head.

It's definitely nice to program the impossible :-)

+Max Brabner I don't use Push but I'm assuming it's like the MPD32 where the pads are premapped such that you can place the "cell" matrix where you want within say, Impulse, so you are hitting the notes you need....know what I mean? I'm surprised no one answered your question. I'd like to know if the mapping is different than how I explained.

all those units just map midi notes so...its easy......if you need multiple banks you can hgave several instances routed to the same midi channel
