Im from the U.S.A and I moved to Samoa when I was 15. I noticed that my cousins were making their own music and it was all reggae. There is something about reggae that resonates with the south Pacific and every island puts thier own spin on it. They'll sing about what is important to them, love and family. We make things too complicated on the mainland.

Its better to get to know the artist on a personal level so yall can have better understanding of them and there music. The guy with the fire in the first part is a Samoan doing his culture dance. J boog is Samoan if you don't know what a Samoan is do some research and you will see and understand. The Rock is half Samoan, J boog is also a island reggae singer from Compton California thats why you see the low riders in the video. He use to live in hawaii thats why the video is in hawaii. The Polynesian culture is so beautiful learn more about it. Island reggae is part if his culture thats why he sings so many beautiful songs.
