@@yrudonking This is not true! The music industry and television push their agendas! The public conforms to the information! They don't mind taking a financial hit for the bigger objective!
@@damionhowell8586 Rakim, Kool G Rap, Masta Ace, Chino XL, Crooked I, RAS Kass, Immortal Technique, Nas, Canibus, Big Pun, Big L, K-Rino, GZA, Eminem, Apathy, Celph Titled, Diabolic, R.A. the Rugged Man. I listed more than 10 and can keep going. He’s not a top 10 rapper.
@@Goyahkla6772 I think they mean at the moment. This is your list, your opinion. Doesn't mean the man is wrong. Cole is better than nearly everyone on your list IMO.
Not at all. He was handpicked and modeled for that position. They knew he was related to the President and VP prior to him and all the rest. I knew this before the first election. Black people are just so emotionally tied to these people color to see their true agenda. Our people are lost following idol God's and other humans at that. Principal over Principles.
Honestly yes. I showed my mom this when it first aired. You could really tell he was getting ready to have major transformation… definitely hasn’t disappointed since
@@majorchutzpah7265 obviously strong enough to paint a truthful picture, and bring change to a few to more. What change have you made and done since this song dropped. Or did you submit to your hurt behind false worth.
When this came out, I had my students study this song as the basis of the power of music, purpose, and just raw real emotion from an artist. They’re in their 20s now so I hope they got the message
J Cole the truth there’s too much killing in rap this man is trying to change the game where we don’t have to hear about drugs and killings and drill rap shoutout to the big homie j Cole you heard !
@@junkscorpion7011he’s a millionaire lol it’s kinda like when Lebron or BLM when they say they are oppressed, when the live in white neighborhoods in Los Angeles lol they don’t care about black ppl
Crazy part about this is he rapped In another song about how Obama then one day broke it down to him when he got to actually ask him about it. Unreal 2 verses. King Cole 🤴🏽
A man can dream can’t he? No disrespect in terms of change I haven’t seen any Maybe he had good intentions but was stifled by the system and was sad to learn he actually couldn’t bring any. My man’s Cole been the hardest rapper since before he came into the game he make my top five dead or alive no matter what
J. Coles most powerful verse To die a young legend or live a long life unfulfilled 'Cause you wanna change the world, but while alive you never will 'Cause they only feel you after you gone, or I've been told And now I'm caught between bein' heard and gettin' old Damn, death creepin' in my thoughts lately My one wish in this bitch, "Make it quick if the Lord take me" I know nobody meant to live forever anyway And so I hustle like my niggas in Virgini-A They tellin' niggas, "sell dope, rap or go to NBA" In that order, it's that sort of thinkin' That been keepin' niggas chained at the bottom and hanged The strangest fruit that you ever seen, ripe with pain, listen...
“they let the brother steer the ship, but didn’t tell him that the ship was sinking” different level man but i got other things to think about, like my back account 🤷♂️
We all know the ship is sinking, but we tutn the other way and dont help one another to get free from the sinking ship because we are all stuck in this cycle where we have to worry about that bank account more than the plight facing our entire race.🤷♂️i coud be wrong tho but my bank account could use about 4k right now.🙏
I I knew then and was looked at as crazy whenever I spoke on it bc none of them truly benefitted us but everybody was too caught up on emotions to see and think clearly snd here we are today looking at shattered glass from the broken mirrors we can't stand to look in bc our true reflections show us the truth..........We're fukked😔
Conciseness is the key to the black mind of the black youth this is the type of rap that the industry needs but don’t want. This brother is woke and so fucking talented. this is straight poetry I fucks with it. Reminds me of Tupac I love the storytelling.
J. Cole's verse is a testament to his extraordinary lyricism. His cleverly crafted lyrics remain engaging with each listen. You can play his songs all day, and they never lose their charm, a true artist in every sense!
what do you mean by “us Gods”? are you saying we’re Gods? Theres only one God who created us and one Savior to which we must be saved from our sins and thats Christ Jesus.
@@lamblyy we are the Gods and Godesses off this planet. There is one creator that created us and lives in us. “Jesus” bka Yeshua is an ascend master that reached his “Christ Conscience” that we all can do. Don’t feed into the trap of what these elites try to keep us in. Dig into the hidden things they won’t tell you
@@Divine_9 Friend, if we were gods, we wouldnt be trapped by our own evil sins. We are foolish, evil, wrong, hateful creatures. Thats is not how a god is. God is our Creator and He is perfect, holy, right, just and He alone frees us from our sins, we cannot free ourselves, if we were gods we could but we cant.
