if you’re wondering why skrawberries is randomly spelled with a k, it’s because that’s how people (especially african americans) pronounce shit down here in the south, especially atlanta. if you listen to lil baby it’s very noticeable as well. it’s just a weird part of the dialect down here that Ts get replaced by C/K sounds. por ejemplo “dat boy scrong” or “we in the skreet”
Ya know how Avatar has water bender Earth bender, Airbender etc JID is a word bender lmao that's the best way I can describe him. Dude flow is on mastery level.
Disclaimer: J.I.D is my favorite up-and-coming rapper, his albums/mixtapes dominate my playlist. He’s got some work to do on his lyrics imo, there are gems though. He’s slick, but it gets affected a lot by cheesy lines. He’s on his way to being one of the greats though. Buuuuuuuuuut Aesop Rock is the master level of flow. He’s the one true wordsmith left. I recommend checking his discography out, he’s genuinely too smart for his listeners.
Why do you guys want him to do the same glow for every song. He did what he was to suppose to do and switch it up with the different types of songs. Personally I dont want that same flow every song. He shows he has range and I love it. GREAT REVIEW NONETHELESS 💪🏾👌🏾🤝🏾
Much love from Toronto, not gonna request you to post a reaction but jus wondering if you heard the new meek album and if you enjoyed. Keep up the good content tho
@@MORNINGSTAR190 Woah JID is cold asf lyrical wise, maybe not as lyrically dense as Kendrick, but the difference is not a far enough gap for a "fuck no" to be justified.
This album was pretty generic in my opinion. Mediocre lyricism, decent but boring flow, and boring beats. The only song I didn’t skip and will probably revisit is ‘Working Out’. 5/10
