Amazing, amazing book. Quite definitely my favourite in the whole series. I've read it two times. Right now I'm re-reading the entire series. It's amazing the things you pick out when you know what's going to happen. I can't wait to re-read Deathly Hallows again.
This is great. I'm going to have to buy the audio books. I haven't had anyone read to me since I was 5 and I'm now 23. I can't believe how much I missed this!

Godddd. I love Jo. Shes a genius. The Dark Lord Acending was a great way to open this book, especially since Snape was there ^_^ Its gonna be really interesting to see this on film
what is this Twilight vs HP fight all about ? If you read both stories, they have nothing in commun except being written for young readers and being best-sellers. The biggest best-seller of all times is the Bible, and yet nobody comes to say "Harry Potter is way better than the Bible!!"^^ So seriously, keep your energy for useful things ;) Apart from that, it's very nice to hear J.K. Rowling reading her own book, I feel like it's a bed-time story. It's great to listen to :)

Yes, Tolkien wrote LOTR=) I'm a big fan of Tolkien, and a jkRowling fan as well, and I think that they are imcomparables. I mean, what's the point discussing about who's better? Both of theme are genius and we have time to read more than one author, haven't we? Well that's all and I'm sorry if I have a lot of english mistakes, I'm a spanish speaker.

ive read the whole twilight saga (half of breaking dawn but friends told me the rest) and ive read the Harry Potter saga 3 times and you can't even compare twilight to Harry Potter! Harry Potter definately wins :)

I wonder if it felt weird for her to read her book to a group of people so large...i mean it must be a little you know seeing it in print and it having such a large impact on the world
at least Hedwig, Dobby and some of Lupin or Tonks(to take care of the baby) shouldn't die- they were to much.But this book have a lot of victims so it make it real and I think that harry potter books will be remembered forever 'cause this isn't just some science-fiction book this was real ppl and it is OVER:(:(:(
@kaiuycn Though I have not read either books....I would probably agree with your points....but PLEASE explain to me how is the the Twilight series the cultural phenomenom that it is? Even for a teenage love story I've been told it's terrible and too much of "Foo-Foo Hollywood" romance story.
@pasiphandra it's not even the same kind of story. I dont know why people keep comparing the two. They're both great stories, however i cant bring myself to claim one above another. it just doesnt make any sense.
As with all major relgions (chrstianity included) there are those who use the teachings for good, and those for evil. Ill just point out that there is almost ONLY one fairly universal law in witchcraft "Harm nobody" "harm none", etc. Does that sound evil?
@SnapeLilyLove7 Why in your opinion does Potter reign supreme over Twilight ( or atleast why does Twilight make you ashame to be an American?). This is a serious question. I realize you probably wouldn't have enough space to write your response. I have not read either book- as I am a non-fiction/technical reader. Just curious, that's all.
