*Makes sense to use a different name BUT why a man's name? She already had that when they used "JKRowling", and since she's such a radical feminist it would make sense to use a different woman's name. Also why are all of her protagonists men? Harry, Strike, Jack (in christmas pig), the one in Ickabog... If she's such a feminist why not stop putting female characters as side characters (Hermione, Robin, etc)? They're always on the side, vut the lead are men. Same with conflict/antagonists and the protagonists of interesting plots: Grindelwald, Dumbledore, Sirius Black Lupin James Potter... Meanwhile Lily and McGonagall etc are not that important. And again she's a feminist that goes against trans women because they "are going to erase women" lol you're the one who erase them in your own novels, Jo. Give them power and protagonism. And when getting a pseudynom get a woman's name for women's writers power*
I think its mostly because of the way of ideals that her parents brought her up with... My parents too r old school but I'm not because I've been influenced by the internet (both good and bad) and now I and many others understand more as we r exposed to feminine thoughts and introspect our own.... And can think and perceive things more delicately unlike her times.. So I don't think she's all to blame but she can do something about it now
Becaus These ar the characters that come to her. A writer can never tell you why ther ar the way they ar. Harry just came to her so did Strike and Robin.
