J prince is very well respected and feared in the music industry.You cant step in Houston and get wrong with him and not expect getting your ass beat or shot at.That's just the way it is.You need permission from J Prince to do anything in Houston.

Shame some of you all don’t get it. If you listened to him enough, you would know that he tried to prevent Biggie’s murder. Why would he allow a similar scenario to play out when he can make a difference. More of this needs to be done at the micro level in the streets as well. There needs to be a #BeefStopped hashtag. It would be a great example if Drake, Meek, and Push went on tour as Drake and Push have recent albums. That would be turning a Beef into getting Cake together. The first Ghetto Boys did not want to be in a group. Prince Johnny C was brought to Houston by DJ Ready Redd. My homie Raheem was like the 50 Cent before 50 Cent because he was fighting and beefing with rap artist locally and he went at LL Cool J and Run Dmc as J Prince says when the Ghetto Boys went to NY. They were boo'ed and Run Dmc and LL Cool J stunted on the artist. All of the 1st Geto Boys were from Trent New Jersey and some say that had a lot to do with YZ the 90's rapper who became friends with J Prince when he had his hit concious song "Thinking of a Master Plan". I was Raheems Dj after his DJ Venom left him to go back to Los Angeles. We use to perform with Scarface at club Gucci on the North Side via 5th Ward and Cashmere Gardens. I was there with my homie Shakim NY from Brooklyn when Scarface decided to join the Geto Boys. It was me , producer Bido, Bushwick, Brad aka Scarface and Shakim. We were all hanging at Club Benz on the south side on Main street close to Carringtons. Well Hell I should be making my book soon as a tell all because I been doing this since 1987 Dj Def . Back then Rap A Lot was fresh starting off and we did'nt have not labels in Houston besides Atch Records and R & B Label. So J Prince was huge for the Houston Music scene. My O.G. homie Lil Troy was a huge under ground figure and that is all I will say about that pretty much did a deal to deal Scarface off to J Prince and Rap a Lot because Lil Troy was too deep into the street life. Shout out to J Prince for letting me film kids boxing at J Prince Gym in 5th Ward and Shout out to my O.G. Lil Troy and my brother Raheem the VIG. Oh yeah Life in the fast lane on Scarface album was a true story and I was there. I was kidnapped and all i can say is due to my people I am still here.
