🇮🇹❤️🌹👏👍 ~ Tra i più bei brani d'organo, peraltro magnificamente eseguiti, che abbia mai ascoltato. Mi sento di ringraziare l'organista, anche per la scelta dei drani stessi!!
Great performance, congratulations! People may notice that the fugue (04:50) is "manuals only" for two-thirds of the piece (the fingering is a challenge!). The very brief subject (essentially only 2 bars) starts off with myriad combinations between the 4 voices. The inverted subject is presented in the middle third of the piece and is combined with the original subject in all sorts of ingenious ways including stretti (overlaps). When the pedal register finally enters, it presents the augmented subject (i.e. double the length), and later just before the coda, the augmentation of the inverted subject. The coda is a spectacular cascade of descending scales that accompany more combinations of the subject and its inversion. Liszt did a great job of transcribing this and 5 other Bach organ P&Fs for piano.
