I know many people that would refuse to be a backup in the NFL and others that would quit the minute they hear they aren't playing. The fact this dude was a career backup and was happy with that is actually a nice change of scenerio, he just seemed grateful for even being drafted.

I love these human stories. I am from California, about a 20 minute drive from Davis and his school of UCD. I grew up a 49ers fan, and while he was no star, I felt happy to watch a local kid play as the starting QB for my favorite team. Maybe like five people in the world know this, but if you played as the 49ers in EA Sports Head Coach for the xbox or PS2, J. T. O'Sullivan would easily become a start QB under the Mike Martz offense. The way the game is set up, the playbook and everything aligned for him to be the second coming of Kurt Warner. That wasn't just my experience, other people tried it out and saw the same results. I will always have fond video game memories of J.T. O'Sullivan.
