Now that Tom Oberheim has the Oberheim brand back under his control, I'm "patiently" wafting for a rerelease of the FVS and EVS. Not that I could ever afford them, but I know they would sell in today's market of analog-obsession. Excellent demo!!
Excellent performance and cinematography. Color balance looks real nice and multiple camera angles are always appreciated. I've yet to see a demo of this synth that shows off its versatility and capability as well as you have, very well done. You've solidified this as my next synth purchase. This is what I imagine an MS-20 might sound like it it was poly, the filter on this thing is pretty darn fat.
It’s too bad they stopped making them . It was a short run if you ask me. Wish they made 4VP and even the Oberheim 8 voice with all those new features.
So disappointed. Getting a SEM-based synth was a holy grail for me and I started saving up when I saw these released. When I went to finally get one, manufacturing had ended and no shops had any left. And now Tom seems to have hung up the hat on new projects.
@@pablumpicasso9207 yes I saw 🙁 But maybe Sequential will release an OB-X soon for a similar price... which would be great too. 2 voices are nice but I’d rather have real polyphony 🙂
