That video pushed me to buy my Rhodes really. Not only this of course. I've known a track by Vangelis called Reve for many years but had no idea what the instrument was. I must have heard people playing Rhodes so many times but so few people could play it this gentle, jazzy, mysterious way. And this video made me realize THIS was the instrument. I bought myself a Mark I for my 30th birthday. Thank you so much for this video!
How do you find the ergonomics of the wheels placement? Do you prefer one or the other? Seems like on the left you can rest your hand more than when its above the keys where especialy large hands have to hover
Anyone know how to connect a keyboard to thee Apollo audio interface to use this plug in? When I connect with line cable on an instrument track I don’t get any sound
Ok, I’m getting the Prophet 5. I’ve had the Rev 2 for many many years and have always felt it was a little thin and fragile in the filter department. That being said, I’m never selling my Rev 2 as it’s a sound designer type of synth with so many modulation points. I want to feel like I’m being embraced by my chords when I’m playing a synth and I believe the P5 will be doing that for me. Thanks for this video!
Each preset has been saved with its own velocity curve, which can be accessed if the velocity curve is "unlocked." I used the A88, so, it will obviously translate best with the A88 or other similar weighted keyboards. I encourage users to overwrite the presets with their own velocity curves after watching my video about the subject: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fQoAag5I12E.html
Yeah, it's in one of the volumes...I think volume one. I'd have to double check. You can check out the demos here on RU-vid of my preset packs for the P6. ;)
Are these customised by yourself? I have keyscape but I've not had time to delve into it much, which is why I'm asking. I'm after an auto pan slightly detuned Rhodes setting.
Yes, at 0db. If the signal gets hot (if you're playing ridiculously hard or change some parameters), then bring the gain down in the master slider if it's causing clipping in your DAW.
@@j3po784 ok, at 0db, my cursor is far more on the right that's why I was asking ^^. I'm surely a couple of software updates behind. Thanks for your time and keep up with the awesome content bro <3
