An English registered nurse wanting to help out with the nursing shortage in New Zealand arrived in Wellington, set up house then applied for a senior job at the main public hospital. She was told sorry you cannot be hired until she completes a full indoctrination course of 3 months on the handling and treating of patients following the Indigenous protocols for treatment of Indigenous peoples.
