Saw great white 3 times in the 80's and the the one that stands out the most was the white tour. The white tour I believe was in 1988 it was white lion, great white, and white snake all 3 bands at the top of there game and wow what a concert. The other two shows were great whites first album tour and the other was the led zeppelin tour were they did all zeppelin songs.
Nobody can let you down like a friend.......that's when you get to redefine for yourself what constitutes a "friend". The older you get the fewer fingers you need to count them.
I wish he and the rest of Great White would mend fences and get back together. The records they made were just plain awesome! Jack Russell and Mark Kendall were to my generation what Plant / Page, Jagger / Richards and Tyler / Perry were to the generation before me.
Sucks when they have something special and are wealthy but can't see the wealth is wrecking what WE love and paid for to see and experience. Get your asses together before you really miss out. YOU ARE ON THE TOP OF THE LIST OF MY FAVORITE BANDS and I have talked about you to so many people since the first time I saw you about how good you all are.
Did they drop having a keyboard player over the years....seems like a lot of footage I've seen of them over the last couple of decades omit a keyboardist... That was a key part of their unique sound!!
The reality is Kendall co founded the band with Jack. So technically does he have the right to go on as Great White? Yes sure he does I can't argue that. However do the fans then have the right to tell kendall that the band fucking sucks balls without Jack absolutely. Kendall can enjoy the money the name brings in that's his right, but he also has to see everyone time he posts a video how angry Great White fans are and how bad we think the new songs are. It's kinda like the kneel for the anthem thing going on. Do people have a right to kneel sure it's a free country. However that free country also gives us the right to tell them we think it's disrespectful and that we won't watch their product or purchase tickets or merchandise. It's a two way street.
Shame they can’t get the full band back as original as possible. Bury the hatchet. So many bands end up like this. This is the last decade for them to go out and make millions. Us 70s kids are getting older. And dying. This is our music. And well pay for the real deal. Not fakers.
Totally agree especially when they kept going back on his medical issues. Damn interviewers move on and talk about Jack and the band and his latest experience
The '80s Great White albums and live performances are unforgettably fabulous/ Once the image goes to hell and you're deteriorating, then it's not art anymore/ They're now doing it to make money, it's a job and that desecrates the art form and I find it horribly tragic and shameful/
