Who would have thought that fresh faced young prosecutor in 2011, would now be the saviour and superhero of US democracy? The hour has certainly brought forth the man. When this is all over (hopefully in my lifetime), I hope we see more of that smile, Mr Smith. I'm not defending The Orange Stain, not in the least. But what you've listed are not crimes. You can't jail someone for comments and lies, or being biggly stupid in business. Most of the stuff where he's actually been held accountable was all civil stuff, and that's just money. No doubt he's committed crimes in the past, the problem has always been to prove his fingerprints on them. But your point is well noted. This should not be a surprise to anyone, he's been a scofflaw all his life, his history bears witness to his lack of morals, character, and patriotism. Unfortunately, that's not the prosecutors call. It's the judge. And there are a lot of circumstances to take into account before sending him to prison. Not saying it's impossible, but IMO, he won't see the inside of a jail cell.
