They are both from the same time. This kind of routine should have come from the vaudeville theater. Unfortunately, we should assume that vast majority of the vaudeville performers of the end of XIX and beginning of the XX century are lost for us. They were not caught on camera, and best what we can know about them are photos, newspapers advertisements and probably short critical reviews.
