i'm lucky i live about 30 miles away from it. nashville is about as good as a city as you can get for record shopping. grimey's, phonoluxe, the groove, several great escapes, and not to mention tmr.

I was just there Monday and bought me the White Blood Cells record. 2nd visit and I'm planning on going back again soon. Wish Jack was there!!!

Staff and manager very nice and I gave them Rousseau Emile and it made them happy... I am not very educated on music but I am a fan of Jacks work over the years so the lavendar dogs and I stopped by Nashville and I liked the neighborhood

2:54 when he says about that Jack comes into the store sometimes and before someone notices that he came, he's already in his office. Then he said "That's fun." IT IS NOT FUN!!! XD If I'd go to USA, to Nashville, to TMR and I wouldn't even noticce, when Jack White came to the store, I'd die. I'd be so disappointed and angry... Uh... I don't want to even imagine that. :D

I think they gave the photo booth away. It was featured on American Pickers. They had an old, old, old elephant head that they sold to Jack. He threw in the booth to sweeten the deal.

That was a spare they had from a photo shoot I think-it didn't have the yellow side-panel the TMR one does.

dovydas.d In the 90’s those were in every resale shop in the cool parts of town. Haven’t seen one for years. I think they were originally made in the 1960’s.

Looks like a corporate Apple store, or a Disney store. I miss the old hole-in-the-wall independently owned record shops. Nothing fancy, just rows of stacked records, and all the prices and promo signs handwritten with sharpies. Unshaven owners smelling like cigarettes and coffee. No sales clerk help ever offered, unless you ask for it.
