One problem there aren't any. Seriously meg rushing and just screwing with the tempo is what made seven nation army special in concert however still fantastic just lacking a bit of chaos
Ok this is actually really cool with all those instruments. It’s haunting and it’s awesome cuz jack nailed everything on the guitar and on the mic. It gives me chills and can’t even describe it.
i just can't get enough of drummer. every time a watch a live video with him i am amazed by what he can do. he does his thing with the white stripes' songs but still with respect for what meg did with the white stripes
A lot of people mistakenly think "Seven Nation Army" is played on a bass. And rightfully so. It's a cool fact that Jack White uses his electric guitar with a pedal that lowers the guitar by an octave or so. It's nice to see this played live.
Will Harvey Mostly live, except icky thump, he tries to play multiple instruments at once (which is a problem given he only has 2 hands) and I'm not convinced he knows the words.
I watched this to heal myself from the halftime show with Shakira and it saved my brain cells. This is an amazing performance and the best type of rock crowd ever I mean NO PHONES Jesus thats incredible I love it.
Okay, amazing live performance. Way better than anything jack did with meg. Still...not art the way it was with meg. The messiness, the stopping and starting, the chaos. This is awesome, Led Zeppelin awesome. Meg and jack playing this were Dali or Picasso.
+shoopdawhooop10 Sorry for the late reply but I don't think a slide can produce that much of a screeching noise and Jack seems to not be any using visible pedals (unless the audio engineers are doing it for him).
Sean Patrick Abarico He's using a small slide on his pinky finger. When Jack does seven nation army for the second "chorus" he would use a slide to create that sound.
It's really interesting to see just how that expanded band handles a song written for only 2 people. It's a really good song for a cover, but no version will ever be as good as the original WS version.
