Jack White performing Steady, As She Goes from Raconteurs album 'Broken Boy Soldiers' live at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend 2012. Playlist: • Jack White @ Radio 1's...
Don't forget, he never goes on with a set list so it's not as though it's premeditated to play old songs. But I agree about the Stripes thing, Meg was such a huge component to their sound and it's just not the same without her.
I think he actually does use a setlist, when he' solo (just a guess), because it's not that hard, to get two people playing a song, when it gets on your mind, but it's another story to get this many people to that point, especially, because he's got two bands with him. But that was just a trail of thought I followed and the internet is surely the place for unproven thoughts ;)
It's the first track on Broken Boy Soldiers, Store Bought Bones is the seventh. I'm holding the album in my hand now, so I'm pretty sure you're wrong lol
I dunno, I reckon he doesn't it wouldn't be hard to not use a setlist, and he seems fairly genuine about this stuff in interviews. He's said he's got different arrangements of the songs for both bands so if anything it's not even about the band it's more about him. But only they know if they are/aren't using a setlist, maybe enough digging would find the real answer :p
This is way better from the Raconteurs. Imo, people, who played in a band and want to do solo stuff shouldn't play the tunes they did with their bands, it's always like they don't have the ideas for own proper songs, and since we talk about Mr. Jack White, most genius musician in his generation, I don't think that that's the truth. My heart bleeds when I hear a Stripes song without Meg on the drums :(
Nobody has disagreed with you, I'm merely telling you to go away as you're a turd. Try clicking on reply other than just writing randomly for a more rapid response in future.
Eh I disagree once you get used to the fact jack white's singing is terrible you'll realize the instrumentation is better most live performances of any song at least to me
gental robots Whaaaaatttttt?????? I love Jacks voice hahah, i can see how this isnt everyones cup of tea though, a bit noisey if you can get into his style of feel
