The drummer, Daru Jones, is in a band with Pharoahe Monch (one of the great MCs from the golden era of hiphop), called TH1RT3EN. Check out their album _A Magnificent Day For An Exorcism,_ released last year.
Jack has always been accompanied by excellent musicians, but these guys are on another level, I hope they stay permanently, and Lillie could come back too
What's the trick? In making my love stick What's the trick? Two gentlemen of elegant appearance In a state of bustitude I give them coffee-colored crystals That should change their attitude I'm using appropriate compression for My inappropriate confessions for Someone I guess who might need it more I don't even know what I am doing it for This is my first My worst, my past And my last Imperfect effort One hundred insults Left on my windshield in the morning Release my beast 'Cause the rain never came and washed them away If I die tomorrow What did I do today? You want fresh air? You won't find it this way Check your left, check your right Check your rearview mirror Check it every night Stomping on a box that I thought was empty But there was something sharp inside Something sharp inside Sharp inside Quit bolting your food Don't be rude Plus one and minus one equals zero That's a defeatist attitude I'm sick of this Dead to the world but Not to you but I'm dead to the world but Not to you What's the trick? To making my love stick What's the trick? Ah! What's the trick? What's the trick? In making my love stick What's the trick?
Man, never liked the Stripes nor Jack particularly. But, man--he is on fire, best of Glaston. His set giving me hope that ROCK IS NOT DEAD (and haven't felt that in a looooooong while!) Has a bit of a RAM vibe, loving it.
WELP I'm definitely going to have to see Jack White (again) for his 2022 tour. I didn't get enough the night I saw him and the band in 2014, and he was gracious enough to play two nights in my city, so I immediately got tickets for the next show. Incredible live. I don't think this crowd was excited enough for how amazing this was.
Wow I haven't listened to jack White in a long time but this is the shit! What a show! Damn I wish I was there! Edit: almost getting rage against the machine vibes as well but I love jack Whites guitar playing more than tom morello, they're both great but jack Whites guitar playing is awesome now.
What was the white statue for that was standing on the stage? We recognized it has something like a microphone in the back of its head and the roadies were kind of preparing it shortly before the gig began.
Thank you , the Trick is , everything is an Illusion , my Love , sticks , Sound Vision , for everyone , my temple , has yet to come , Peace , Love and Understanding , tod , thank you , . . . .
Sheinzen what a live performance, drummer is insane 😮! as legendary as that Kravitz's Are You Gonna Go My Way? but I.. ...cannot really understand how great songs are stated in the rock scene.... This "What's the Trick" is at the same very height of Seven Nation Army and Blue Orchid (another song so legendary but never reached a decent aknowledgemt) but it's like Jack White just released a whatever single Like nothing happened! It's not me, it's the song structure, it improved 7 Nation Army in some parts, though it's better 7 Nation, this song is like Jack White's Radiohead Paranoid Android after Creep. Just like all the greatest of the great. Jack will be appreciated after he's passed away, just like Hendrix and all the same in that line. My adv9ice? enjoy Jack while he's creating and impulsing rock and roll along with Muse.
