A star is born. She sang the same song in two years later at AGT semi-final with maturity and perfection at the age of 10

Thanks papasmurfdad, I love these "old" videos! They show clearly how she was doing everything right from the beginning. For example, she doesn't torture her lungs or body, like classical singers do to achieve a certain prescribed result. Jackie does the best she can while remaining natural. For me, the most amazing thing is how she can express emotions she hasn't experienced yet -- I guess she feels them in the music, with no need to understand words or context.

So much talent and beauty in one so youthful is incomprehensible. Perhaps she came from some distant planet orbiting some remote star in some galaxy far far away. Truly otherworldly. Angelic voice breathtakingly beautiful!

And now at age fourteen, this gal with angelic looks, voice. and personality continues to delight, amaze, and inspire us :) :) :)

I really enjoyed this relaxed rendition of the song. The beauty in Jackie's voice comes through loud and clear! It's rare to hear a child under 12 with this sense of pitch, and I've never heard pitch accuracy AND this voice quality in an 8-year-old, ever. It was clear she was headed for something great. This isn't a performance where you say "someday she'll sound good". This was a wonderful performance as-is!
