Yet there is so much to appreciate about her as an adult vocalist, in my estimation, the most versatile young soprano of this century at age 24. Now she is writing, composing and co-producing her own music.
Wow! So beautiful - Jackie, 2014, like a H S prom queen, and this special song by Sarah McLachlan, which she dedicated to the memory of the many young people - musicians and others - who were lost too early to drug overdoses. THIS PERFORMANCE includes that powerful 2nd verse - thank you, papasmurfdad, - which has been a life-saving eye-opener for more than one young musician! NB - With multiple monitor speakers, Jackie can stroll L and R to be closer to more audience members. Also, at the BEGINNING of the chorus, she sings “In the arms of AN angel” but in the rest of the chorus, “in the arms of THE angel.” Only someone so angelic as Jackie would make that distinction [c.f., in TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL or GHOST WHISPERER]. Thanks to the Detroit Symphony also. Congratulations, Jackie - still angelic - You’ve made a great transition from enchanted miracle-child to enchanting young adult😊. Am loving songs you’ve written, such as “The Haunting” and “Behind My Eyes” - BRAVA! Could there be an album of your great performances as Kitty in THE MASKED SINGER; or a country album [E.g, “Concrete Angel;” or a folk album [E.g, “Danny Boy;” or BROADWAY’S BEST [E.g, “Some Enchanted Evening”] Latin songs like. “The Boy from Ipanema” GREAT SONGS OF THE EAST …. sorry, I digress. Please consider more great stage and movie roles - especially as Christine (as brunette, yes?) in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!! Don’t limit yourself … but always be a happy, healthy, beloved child of God!! Love,❤ just another life-long fan, Dereq Howlett, Mus.Ph.D., alias oldmusicguy
Ps - I always get emotional when you sing “Blue” {{No - Not “Mr. Bo Jangles’ beloved pet - but many of us have at least one like that, don’t we?}}, which seems to me like a PINNACLE of your Joni Mitchell album, CAROUSEL OF TIME😢😊
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Maria, gratia plena, Maria, gratia plena, Ave, Ave, Dominus, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus, Et benedictus fructus ventris (tui), Ventris tui, Jesus. Ave Maria! Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora pro nobis peccatoribus, Ora, ora pro nobis; Ora, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, Nunc et in hora mortis, In hora mortis nostrae. In hora, hora mortis nostrae, In hora mortis nostrae. Ave Maria!
Her whole song is beautiful, but It is breathtaking in how she effortlessly jumps to those high notes at 2:50 and 4:10. Watching how she left the stage was totally charming.
Both singers were perfect. ! Jackie has the most incredibly beautiful voice today . But wow, the voice she had as a ten year old before it changed was beyond incredible. I search for it online when I want to listen to certain songs.

Jackie is in Texas tonight in concert to promote her new song "Behind My Eye's" Currently #18 on the Billboard Charts and rising. Where's Amira, it's like she fell off the face of the earth? We like her, she still has to be performing, someplace?
That's pretty funny and prettily done and amazing to see a 10 year old get into a song like silent night like that. Her movement during the performance with her arms and hands was out of this world. She so much got into the song basically both of them were beautiful xxx
Ten years late, I see that the conductor for Jackie's appearance is the same woman who conducted when she appeared in St. Petersburg. What is her name???
Papa, I well remember her performing at Carnegie Hall nine years ago. I believe it was on 5 or 6 December 2013 because she then flew across the country to perform her last concert of the year in Long Beach, California on 7 December 2013. I was at that concert and there was a memorable moment for me that night. Probably about 2000 people attended that concert and I was 11 rows up, located in the middle of the stage. She wore a beautiful light blue dress for the first two sets and then she came out in an extraordinary silver and gray dress for the second segment of the show. As normal for her, she entered from the audience's left side of the stage and had taken about 2-3 steps out on the stage when the full audience saw her in that dress. The next moment was something I will never forget. There was a collective gasp from what seemed all the women in the concert hall over the beauty of a 13-year-old girl who they recognized was no longer a pretty little girl but a beautiful young woman. I thought there was a mass angina attack for all these concert patrons and wondered how Long Beach was going to manage the flow of patients to hospitals and urgent care wards. Anyway, I think you were there as I believe you posted up a video of her performing one of the songs she sang on YT. You could tell she was a bit tired that evening and it was her last performance before returning home to celebrate Christmas with her family. One other thing that was noteworthy that night and kind of funny. As she walked out on the stage for the fourth and final segment of the show, the microphones on the front of the stage picked up the "Clump, Clump, Clump, of her feet as she walked to the middle of the stage. I almost started laughing out loud as it was so characteristic for a new teenager going thru puberty to make a lot of noise when they walked as she probably had minimal or no footwear on as she walked out for that final segment...Figured that if I laughed that the 70-80 year old women sitting in front of me would have beat the hell out of me with those expensive formal purses they brought with them....this was the first of the six, JME concerts that I have attended, from 2013 to 2019, and hope to attend more in the future, especially anytime she decides to return to Texas....thanks for posting this video...Texas Hoosier
