I was engaged to a guy in the early 90’s. He met my family and all…proposed to me…and within weeks he confessed he had made his ex wife pregnant. The humiliation was HUGE! And within days I had to go to a trade show (small company so traveled alone) and had to show a smile. I seriously can’t fake a smile…or any emotion. Anyhow…I had this CD with me. It saved my life. It saved my life in SO many ways. 🥰 I wish I had the word for how grateful I am. I guess thank you would be the words…but I feel much more gratitude than thank you. 🥰

If I close my eyes while listening to him I can still see the pretty young musician of the 70s. His voice hasn’t changed at all, wise beyond his years, with a heart heard in his lyrics. 💖

He's not had a comcert in the UK since pre covid times last saw him in glasgow 2017 and I don't think he'll be back. Grew up on him from world in motion album thanks to my dad now we're 70 and 38 respectively. Thanks JB for the music. without you, as a 90s kid , I wouldn't know what real music is.

This came out the year I turned 20. I was in a different place, driving around listening to Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Cypress Hill. Even though Jackson Browne had ruled my 80's as I grew up, I didn't have time for this song........ it wasn't "in my wheelhouse". Then I saw this performance on Austin City Limits. It spoke to my heart and who I am now more than anything.......so I dug out the Very Best of CD.....and now it sounds crisp and grand to my soul..... blasting on my speakers while I drive.

I used to see JB fairly regularly when I lived in LA. Now on Cape Breton Island, NS, seeing concerts like this aren't possible. We have beautiful music and great musicians, but they aren't the soundtrack of most of my life. Thanks to YT I can see Jackson, and JT and Joni and Bruce and Lyle any time I want. True, there's no comparison to the energy of a live concert, but I'm grateful for being able to see geniuses like JB every day if I like. And the excellence of his home recordings over the pandemic were a light in the darkness.

Laurel canyon late 60's Jackson wrote songs in his basement apartment, while Glenn Fry listened upstairs at the voice & the power moved him on. u never know who's listening & is influenced my the great ones. Bless em all, without music, there is no real world.

Saw him last night in Canandaigua NY, ... ABSOLUTRLY GREAT show. Nice crowd, .good energy. Only downside was when he mentioned that his first album was released 50 years ago. I remember when it was released and didn't need another reminder that I'm old. Kidding aside a great show, well worth it.

JB’s music, lyrics, stage presence and overall performance is always great. My wife and I have seen him several times going back to 1980. What always adds to the experience is that his band always has wonderful musicians. This band carries on that tradition

I met Jackson Browne in the Motel SAHARAN in Los Angeles where he was shooting the video for this song in 1993. He stayed a little after the shooting in his car and I got an autograph from him on the song lyrics printed out. It was a good time. will never forget this

Yes I was worried about him. He did look very tired after he was recovering from covid. Thankful he is doing well now. He looks so good. He’s just a couple years older than I am… we just have to dig deep for strength sometimes at this age. So happy he is in our lives for all this time. Feel like he’s a friend of mine. Saw him last year in Napa. So much love. 💙🥰💙

I will forever love Jackson Browne. I have since I 1st heard Doctor My Eyes on the radio, I hadn’t even seen his beautiful face, but I was immediately smitten by him. I remember purchasing his 1st Album, the Jeep water bag with his face was so iconic. I found a purse at age 15 that was made from one of those tightly woven burlap water bags & used it till it fell apart, because of my devotion to JB.❤️🎸❣️👏
