In today’s vlog we hang out at home! Jackson is 8 months old and he’s crawling! We talk a little bit about what’s changed this month and how he's progressing and growing. We're so proud of him! We have some baby play time and he shows off his moves, he's getting pretty fast! Then we have a relaxing dinner at home and pick back up the next morning. yep! i had an anxious thought when i saw the carrier and walker thing on top of the bench near the carpet he was playing on. everything within grabby-reach will be coming down veeery soon.

The baby shower I went to for a coworker, I got all the cabinet locks she’d asked for, which was a LOT! She was surprised about how many I got her. She also got a car seat blanket from me.

Pete the Cat is on Amazon Prime. His books were my son's favorite - I'd order them from Scholatic Books and from the book fairs at school. We even named our cat after Pete except his name was Petey. 😁

I really do LOVE watching the home vlogs!!! Jackson's personality is starting to develop more and it's so cute and fun to watch. We used to call my sin "scooter" cause he scooted everywhere before he crawled. I almost got emotional when Jackson crawled thank you for sharing such pure heartfelt moments with us!! Jackson...such cuteness, he is adorable!! I loved watching the mile stones in my children! I notice someone said you have to move everything. There were somethings I left out so my kids learned not to touch somethings. That way when they went to my husbands parents who didn't have their house baby proofed they just new eventually! Haha loved the were new here lol! Love your home vlogs! Also I have been meaning you say love the charity's you are promoting! Thanks for doing that!!

Isn’t it crazy how quickly they start doing new things?? My four year old just started “swimming” without her floaty and it is a whole new world over here. So much more anxiety but also so excited for her to build this skill! Jackson is soooooo cute (go, Jackson,go! Crawling)! Y’all are killin it on the parent front! Just keep in mind that these “leaps” will happen, scheduled or not! Y’all are doing an amazing job!!!

It's so fun seeing how different kids try to crawl. Now that hes moblie, walking isn't far away. And since he's trying to use things pull himself up, securing everything is SUPER important. I never really thought about things you had to secure things like shelves, dressers, etc. Jackson is so adorable!

In case you haven't already, remember to securely attach any and all shelving / racks to the wall, since he will now try to scale anything! He will find sharp table edges. He will pull over anything lightweight. Mobility is a joy and a challenge. Your little boy is precious and his smile brightens this world.

Yay Jackson!! crawling! Thank you SO much for letting us be a part of all his accomplishments, means SO much to me - especially, since I haven'[t been out since March. ! Always makes me SO happy to see you guys together as a family, and as a couple. So much love there. And I love how "into" toddler runes you guys are. :) And loved Jackson dancing in his activity chair to Tim['s rendition of the song. :) I have that same set of cutting "boards" too, and never knew that wasn't just a handle, Tim - way cool, an thank you!! :) Your dinner looked SO good - great job, Jenn!! I love my air fryer, especially since my oven doesn't work. And SUCH easier clean up than cleaning an oven, which I wouldn't be able to physically do these days anyway. Glad I looked on RU-vid - they have NOT been sending me email notifications lately on several channels I follow lately, including yours, despite being subscribed, and having the bell checked, Has happened to me, on and off, over the years :( Socially distanced hugs to all 3 of you from New Jersey! Happy 8 month birthday Jackson!! I cannot believe that 8 months have passed since the day Mommy and Daddy went to the hospital to have you ❤️. I remember when RU-vid went quiet 8 months ago and we all wondered... “were you coming now?” And then the news that rocked RU-vid.... Baby Jackson had arrived ❤️❤️ Little did you know or even Mommy and Daddy, that you would become the center of so many people’s worlds, we got to watch all your “firsts,” you kept us all smiling while we were quarantined inside our homes. Oh my goodness he’s so stinking CUTE!!! We really like the gates from toddler too by north state. It’s like multiple panels that can be moved and shaped differently. Definitely a life saver with like bigger spaces that don’t have doorways.

Parent tip: Try to get Jackson more on your eating schedule. What I mean is try to feed him his meals right around the same time you eat your meals at your table that way he will want to eat when you eat and he will get use to your eating times.

He'll be walking very soon! Start putting important things out of reach. He'll be trying to get into all of the things you don't want him to touch. He's really growing.
