@@antonio706ga I know what the safety helmet prevents.It doesn’t prevent the neck from jamming or hypertension in turn causing more problems.It’s to late when it’s to late to address the issue.Just looking out for the guy’s.✌️
I am sort of torn on the use of safety helmets. Sure they add safety in practice, but, they give false sense of security that teaches lead with your head that can cause major injury in a game
That's what good coaching is for. Correct bad habits. I can promise you if they had descent coaching in HS and now they've got excellent coaching it'll be a rare occurrence. Leading with your helmet is a natural impulse just ask a "Ram". Safety helmets are excellent. Protects them so they CAN be ready and not laid up for game time with a concussion or worse.

I think this team is definitely good enough to beat/compete with best mid major D1 schools. I think they'd beat Georgia Tech, Georgia State, and Georgia Southern tbh.
You think this drill compensates for years of major gaps in recruiting talent? Have you watched any RU-vid videos of drills for GT, GSU, or GSU? Not a fan of either of those teams, just curious as to what evidence you've considered to form your analysis.
@@fitzwilliamdarcy5263 the Deion effect. That's my reasoning...lol. But on serious note: Jackson State has athletes....really good athletes. Just as good as the guys who play on the fbs level. They have fbs transfers, a D1 QB in shedeur, 4 and 5 recruits, a coaching staff that's better than you think, and guys who are flat out DAWGS who want it bad. Of course they don't have the resources of a D1 school, but for what they have, they make the best of what they got. I have no doubt in my mind they'd beat the mid major schools. Might get lucky against some of the lower level power 5 schools as well.
These days they don’t buckle their chin straps, helmets always coming off nor do they be wearing their mouth pieces. When I was in school we would get penalized if we didn’t have our mouth piece in.

Nothing worse than a teammate that doesn’t look out for his teammates. Form and 50 go. Stop dipping your helmet because you’re afraid to get hit. This is dumb.
