The Jackson Brothers felt "back home" as they jumped onstage in the middle of 2300 Jackson Blvd. to graciously accept the Key to the City from Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson. Hundreds of fans flocked the streets where the Jacksons grew up and recollected the schools they attended, gigs they played, childhood memories and the girls they dated.

I'm not from Gary Indiana but when the Jackson 5 first hit I had three sisters if I didn't know who the Jackson 5 was I knew then I felt like I grew up with them from the records on the back of the cereal box and everything like that
