As we started up the steps away from North Era Beach, we were met by this bold Jacky dragon lounging on the path. Jacky dragons are lizards that can be found along the east coast of Australia from southern Queensland down to Victoria and some parts of South Australia. When we tried to capture this video, you can see it maintaining its distance from us but it would also bob its head and "wave" its front right arm each time it stopped to look back at us.
