Literally the best guitarist and the best bassist jamming together on a stage nothing special lol .. this is pure art pure music 🎶 this is the best thing i ever heard .. and plus as a gypsy my self and a huge bireli fan i feel bad that i didint know bireli played with jaco .. im so happy that i found this video .. and by the way bireli should've been part of the electric band .. he sounds unbelievable 🙏 ❤
There’s an audio version of this kicking around on Spotify and the sound is Cristal clear. This is what brought me here… I was blown by their performance and wanted to have a look at it.
sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
Bireli was already a bad ass bass player well before this, check him out at 14 years of age soloing on a double bass, bireli is in my top 5 worlds best musicians ever, hes up there with Rachmaninov's solos who i have down as the first JAZZ player. check his piano solos, tell me thats not improv jazz, he's slapping it in there all over the place
Peter Lubke on a drums, sure, i was there and it was 1986 and I have a ticket. I know, are roman was there and I remember everything. The concert ended with the deep purple smoke on the water cover, i was very lucky to see Jaco still alive. Paolo. :)
Wow, i didnt know there were photage of this concert, from -86 i think. Its available on live album with better quality sound. One of my favourite albums of his 80s stuff. The tempo and the drive.. And the funky guitar.
Your welcome, I wish I could thank the actual guy who recorded this! Must of been something to see Jaco in this intimate setting, boy does he rock here.
I'm really happy everyone enjoys Jaco, 25,000 views is unbelievable, YES he and Brieli Lagrene can sure rock the house, and the drummer whom is nameless. Perfect show, just wish it was 720 HD!! Awh why couldn't this have exsisted today, where everyone has a HD camera. still lovely, and Good Enough, hopefully someone can come along with a better version
Thanks a lot ! : it's a real "revelation" about the multi-talentel in "genres" with Biréli. I was ignorant since this moment : in France, I have found a Master after to search all along my life the Hendrix, Garcia, Zappa, and so... :)
PRICELESS! FLIPPIN' FANTASTIC! JACO WAS SO AWESOME,AND COULD PLAY WITH ALL THE PRODIGIES FEARLESSLY AND IT ALWAYS WAS AWESOME, WOW! 1986 WAS SUCH A GREAT YEAR FOR ME-I WANNA GO BACK IN TIME,DANG IT! THAT BIRELI KID,WHERE THE HECK DID HE COME FROM,AND HOW DID HE GET THAT KINDA SKILL? DANG!
Outstanding: I followed these 2, plus drummer since the CDs came out in the mid 80s. This was a good time for Jaco, but the mainstream Jaco fan - has not much of a clue. These tour gigs were in Europe, probably never graced the USA with Birelli..
Saw the concert in Bern in Mühle Hunziken in December 84 (I think) !!!!! They were great but Jaco was pretty out that night constantly cursing out the drummer....but otherwise epic!
Yes, it was December 1986. In Dec. 13 1986 Jaco, Bireli Lagrene and the drummer (don't remember the name) had a show in Catania (Sicily) ed I was there. Also have a couple of picuters (sorry for my english..)
No way! Unless they played in Catania in the morning...Dec. 13, 1986, in the evening, they played at Teatro Tenda Pentimele, Reggio Calabria. Drummer was Serge Bringolf. Here's my recording of that night: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0pEiVOPEaJI.html for a review of the concert see also: www.metallized.it/articolo.php?id=1114 a bit fictional but still worth a look
@@jerryxever It was a long time ago and I can't remember exactly so I looked in the Catania newspaper (La Sicilia) and the edition of December 14th 1986 was about the concert the night before in Catania. That's why I wrote December 13 ..
@enrico mamoli Thomas Böröcz was the drummer during the Italian Tour 1986. And what about this video ? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t_L3m3g-wzw.html
@enrico mamoli I've found a video from Jan Janjeke who produced the italian tour that confirms it was Thomas Pöröcz ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4McCouCvMTg.html
Cos...davvero? Ahaha erano proprio due personaggi entrambi. Quanta invidia che provo nei suoi confronti, mi creda. Cosa avrei dato per poter assistere a un concerto 😍😵
They're having a blast! WTF! Incredibly these young men discovered each other to perform this! Did they ever catch the filthy coward who murdered Jaco? If not, someone knows...speak out now!
Donnie Luc Yeah & sadly they just gave him a slap on the wrist. He's a real estate agent in Florida nowadays. Ironically, I think his first name is Luc.
@@larptroll69er22 Well, Jaco was Abusing the bouncer.... trying to get in the club. Bouncer cracked, gave him a few punches. He regreted it instantly and pleaded guilty and respectfuly did his sentence. Must have had a good lawyer.
Quanto ti invidio...cosa mi sono perso😔😵. Ma all'epoca Jaco era conosciuto quanto? Alla radio lo trasmettevano o solo su determinate stazioni? Perché i miei genitori, che non sono per nulla ascoltatori di funk, jazz o fusion, lo conoscono.
