I've been a fan of Chris for decades, I found Madison through Chris about 6 years ago, and Jacob about 4 years ago. I greatly admire each artist separately, together they make magic. They recorded this right after 2 sold out London shows of the 3 of them. Makes me hopeful there will be more. Madison is a magnificent songwriter, and an even better guitarist. She has her own Mahogany Session of her song "All I've ever known". She is fantastic live, either solo or with a band. Currently touring with John Mayer as his opening act. I get to see Chris again in a month, and hopefully Jacob in 2.
Hello! Thanks for the reaction. I loved the history you have with the mandolin. It’s a fantastic instrument. You should take a dive and dig more into Madison Cunninham’s work. She is so creative and has stunning songs.
James Collier will be where I live, in Vancouver Canada on April 14, and I think I will go see him live. I really love what he does to the sound and how he uses it to impress us.
You introduced me to Jacob Collier. And now, two new people to look into. Gorgeous song. Thank you Faana! from Washington DC (since you asked) Songs like this remind us that sometimes there is more to "Keeping it Funky" than just the funk. Sometimes we need to be soothed.
If you haven’t already, you should definitely go down the Madison Cunningham rabbit hole. Yes, her voice is angelic and her vocal control in this song is otherworldly, but she’s also an amazing songwriter and a wonderful guitarist in her own right.
Hi, there. Just chiming in before the reaction itself starts to let you know that overthinking and trying to be a people-pleaser is totally normal and expected. Remind yourself that we’re here for you, being yourself. Anything beyond that is just a cherry on top of
