I don't think he quite understood Christ's message when he told a rich man to "sell all you have and give the money to the poor". The poor are not his concern, as they are not related to his fundamental love of and faith in riches from his childhood.

No it won't that's totally wrong. God's forgiveness is not freely given to sinners, in fact the creation of the description of what a sin actually is - clearly was given in order to make the point that gays will not be forgiven until they stop and repend. You can't just do whatever you like and call it good. Homosexuality is a sin, and to gain forgiveness for it you must at the soul level ACCEPT that it is actually bad and wrong and not ever do it.

Far as I am concerned, its NOT my choice to make. Its a responsibility that can not and should not be FORCED onto anyone, and that its better to NOT have kid than for that kid to be raised in a home they were not wanted or to be put into the system. I FULLY recognize my view is, to some, extreme, and I accept that in a society of diverse mindsets, in order for us to love together mine might not be acceptable enough. Fair enough, which is why I "accept" certain limits, ie no government funding, even a limit past the 2nd trimester. It called compromise. I might not like it, but I am practical enough to realize that until people naturally move to my position and away from religion, this is the best I can hope for.
