Jada and Maya (A Twin with a Rare Genetic Condition-Nonverbal) 

They are both so beautiful and Maya is such a mature girl.

When Maya said "she's going to grow up and be an independent woman" and "she can be alot of things" had me in tears and clapping because she is wise beyond her years and will be a wonderful part her sister's journey in life.

Jada is so smart! Did anyone notice Jada’s response as her mom cried? Wow 🥺 They can teach Jada how to use a keyboard to communicate. She’s really smart!

I love the way Maya looks at Jada. You can see the love in her eyes for her sister.

Another amazing sibling just assuming responsibility with no question. Jada seems very cognizant of her surroundings for someone directly nonverbal.

The look and smile Jada gives at 01:21 is so precious especially with what the mum was talking about. . Maya is amazing and mature. The mum is so lucky to have 2 beautiful daughters.

Balancing being a sister, caretaker and growing up must be a lot of pressure. I hope she doesn’t have to grow up too fast. I hope that Maya is able to have more moments of being a child than a caretaker. Children need to be children in order to grow up and be well functioning adults in society.

Omg children are such a blessing. My daughter and I were watching this and the moment she said: " there is a time where she doesn't even get much attention".I started to cry as the mother and both her daughter and my daughter said "mom don't cry". . . Total shock to hear both of them respond at the same time. Children are so pure. I hope to have the strength to protect that at all cost till she can learn how to do for herself and even then I will continue.

Jada knows exactly what's going on. It's clear shes trying to use her body to communicate things, and it kinda bothers me that they both keep grabbing her hands and ignoring what shes trying to articulate. But I can tell they love her and that Jada is a happy child. I truly hope the hand thing finds a happy medium by her teenage years, and that their understanding of each other continues to grow and jada doesnt find herself feeling frustrated and unheard. I only mention this because my brother was nonverbal until he was 8, and my nephews are nonverbal, and my daughter is mostly nonverbal and they all use facial expressions, sounds, and especially their hands to communicate and I've seen the frustration when their teachers, family members, and therapists dont understand what they are trying to do with their hands, and instead try to restrain their movement. Imagine if when you tried to articulate something other people didnt understand, they just put their hand over your mouth and ignored your attempts to communicate. Its kinda like that. Like I said, clearly jada has learned other ways to communicate different needs, and her sister is well attuned. I just wish they didnt subdue her bodily autonomy like that.

Wow Maya is more articulate than me… I’m 40. Parents raised her right and the strong love she has for her sister is a true reflection of the unconditional love that has been given to both Maya and Jada by their parents.

Jada is understanding you can tell by the way she reacts and responds when her mom is sad

This is one of the most beautiful sibling relationships ive ever seen. When asked what she thinks her sister will b like when she grows up and she said its hard because she can be a lot of things was so touching. Not putting limitations on her. A lot of times adults accidentally put our own fears and concerns onto our kids and here its the opposite. You can literally feel their love.
