I wanted to animate these Jada Toys Street Fighter action figures as soon as I got them. See what you think. #streetfighter #jadatoys #stopmotion Cap on social media! - / captainmckay Instagram - @captainmckay Twitter - @captainmckay
One small thing I just thought of that would've killed me, Ryu's iphone should have been cracked or had a damaged screen cause let's face it, he would have an old ass phone that's been through the ringer. This was so good. That Fei Long figure is absolutely perfect. The proportions and the face looks great. Ryu looks pretty damn good as well. Love the movie set and the bad guy poster.
Wish I thought of that haha. I did laugh at the idea that he has his own theme song as his ringtone though, like he KNOWS the stage music is good. Thanks for watching man! These figures come highly recommended, I know for sure there’s an M.Bison in your future
Duuuude not only was the sound design excellent on this one (not to mention the music), but I love the behind the scenes stuff after! Seeing when and where the cranes (is that what those are called?) are needed in certain shots is very interesting. These figures must be heavy and stable if they can hit some of these poses without help. Loved this one, brudda.
The behind the scenes stuff is something I showed for the first time after the Rock/Hogan Super Tiger match and wanted to bring it back. It’s always cool seeing a peek behind the curtain, and I don’t mind showing people what a mess of props and rigs my table is before editing haha. These figures became fast favorites for me, they’re great quality and really reasonable price-wise. Thanks for watching as always, man!
@CaptainMcKayRandom I do stop motion animation with wrestling. I wanted to know where did you buy the rigs that held the figure when it was in the air?
@@YosefAzzi one is just a soldering tool called a Helping Hand on Amazon. That’s the one I recommend if you’re on a budget. The metal one is from a site called Kinetic Armatures, but be aware there’s a long waiting list and they’re pro grade so they’re expensive.
Thank you! I’d love to do more Street Fighter animation soon, I’ve got another one on my channel using Storm Collectibles figures if you want to watch some more!
You this was pretty smooth, if your getting that level of smoothness with these figures, that means the articulation and possibility is off the god damn planet let alone the wall. I really hope they do more from the alpha series, I'd love to have Yun since he was one of my main's in alpha or Alex vs Haggar in a wrestling match on tiger pro, that would be a cool idea for a vid!
Thank you! Man, that Bret/Kurt video was so long ago, it’s awesome people have been watching some of my stuff all this time. Really appreciate the comment!
Hell yeah! Smooth criminal bro! Love the concept man, knowing all the figs about fight franchises you got in your arsenal, would love to see this series continuing into something like your mortal combat projects, maybe even crossovers like marvel vs capcon, street fighter vs mortal combat. Epic as always man, kudos
@@CaptainMcKayRandom hope they finish this line, been waiting years for shf classic guile, sagat was dissapointing scale wise and they take for ever to release, im sure getting some guys in this jada line, ken is looking legit, hope we get cool boses like bison, sangief, sagat and vega
@@chino1moreno it looks like they want to do the whole SFII roster. Ken, Bison, Dhalsim, and Chun Li are all coming out soon, and I can’t wait to see who’s next!
They’re really great. They hold up, too - the joints are still nice and smooth on mine, no looseness or issues even after putting them through their paces.
Awesome! I think you’ll like them, even after putting them through this video their joints are still nice and tight. I hope you like them. Thank you for watching!
YO!!! THIS WAS GOOD. The animations were very fluid. Seem more so than usual, but that could be from the different type of action you normally do. So, should we expect to see them in the FWA, or is this the rise of a striking based combat circuit?
Thanks for watching! Not sure what FWA is, maybe you’re thinking of someone else? (Could explain why the animation looks different haha). Either way, this was just an excuse to try something new with figures I haven’t messed with yet. I may do more when there are more released!
This was good. Tip: consider speeding up the footage of them fighting to account for the all the frames you're capturing. That many frames for quick movements slows the actions down when played at normal speed but when you change it to x1.5 speed it flows much better....OR capture less frames and add motion blur FX to the shots in post
I edit in Premiere, usually I put my frames into a nested sequence and then just edit the speed of the entire thing, rather than editing individual frames. Makes it easier to have more variety too. There are also different export settings that can be used - for example, the time interpolation setting I used for the beginning and end of this is called “Optical Flow,” which smooths things out a little. The setting I used for the “movie” scene is called Frame Sampling, which gives it a different look that’s more reminiscent of what I wanted from an old Kung Fu movie (I also added film grain to that part)
Wow you nailed all the none fighting moves perfectly. I hate to be critical but I'm like that. The fight choreography was a little weird Good but just a touch off.
That’s fine. Most of the fight is made up of pieces from old Wu-Tang movies that I emulated the moves, since I tried to keep it authentic to that style of old Kung fu movies
I am completely mesmerized at 1:06 and 2:19, this animation is awesome and would convince just about anyone into buying Jada Toys. Side note: Whatever happened to that Storm Collectibles Stop-Motion involving Reptile you did a live stream of? ru-vid.comntEJKbfK41s?feature=share
I’m still planning to finish that Reptile video haha. It got away from me when I got inspired to do some other things, but I’m sure it’ll get back on track. Thanks for watching and sharing!
@@Onefigure-p8v I usually export the animation as a video and then adjust the speed of the whole video rather than frame by frame, so it really depends honestly
Your stop motion is. Great and the movments. Very. Organic❤...what i could reccoment is to accelerate the frames on the Fight acenes a. Little. On your editor and will look more natural and exiting
