A quick note regarding those confused as to why this is in SirActionSlack's loregasm playlist. I don't know why it's in there either I've never spoke to him or heard of him till this video ended up in his playlist. Apparently he put it in there by mistake.
Master Li should have gone, run an opium den. For that he was smart enough. But, even in absence of a remastered version: Graphic updates (15 GB) and widescreen MODS still are available at Nexus Mods. 🤗 `The real Buddha was Afro-American, y'know?´
Strangely enough i enjoyed Jade Empire and both KoTOR games and all the Dragon Age games more than Mass Effect. There's just something about these games that just pulls you in that ME just couldn't do. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks for posting this. This game is a masterpiece. While I maxed out Golem Form and stomped Li flat in my first playthrough with Furious Ming, afterwards I refused to use it for the big fights. It was fine for mook fights and fun when there were waves of enemies, but I wanted to finish Li off in a more personal way. Fist to fist with Radiant Jen Zi and Legendary Strike/Double Sabers or with magic and Thousand Cuts for Ling the Scholar. Felt good to draw the fight out, make him understand just how outclassed he was.
He wasn't outclassed. That was the whole point. He taught you your most fundamental abilities and he had the Water Dragon's power as well. Not to mention focus. In that last fight you are truly equals. And it's up to you to defeat the only true equal you've ever had.
You... all you wanted was to become a god. I get it. You made me into a powerful warrior to murder the king. An impressive tactic. Your actions made it possible to become closer with Dawn Star, and I admire that. But you wouldn't have pissed me off IF YOU DID NOT TRY TO WIMP YOUR WAY OUT OF A FIGHT! NOBODY DENIES ME A CHALLENGE! And you try to use physical attacks against my Jade Golem Form? Some Glorious Strategist.
I found the ending of the game sort of boring and anticlamatic. everything goes downhill when you leave the imperial city, though the twist was very unexpected and cool
I always knew that scene in “Infinity War” with Thanos seeing young Gamora reminded me of something. Here I am all these years later watching 4:47 and realizing.
I used Storm Dragon. One punch from Storm Dragon every 6 seconds or so kept him permanently stunlocked. I just hacked him with endless longsword combos while he couldn't do anything to me due to the "shocked" status effect. That's why human enemies in this game are pathetic.
I am sure you had a good time doing this in fact i hope you did but at the end of the day there's very little differences and ugh I think I'm gonna be sick I'd rather have the empire under my heel than be all ugh nice sheesh. thanks for the video all the same at least now i know what i will never see on my system.
@@NovaG0 sorry but I am just one of those players I play renegade in ME so naturally I play closed fist on JE and enjoy it and i didn't mean to offend you sorry :(
This was the game i first played when i got my first computer when i was little.. I didn't know much of this game and i faced Li with "Leaping Tiger" technique and defeated him. Remember that Li once said "keep the basics at hearth", so i did even tho it was obnoxiously heavy and frustrating for me 😂😂😂😂 now i am playing this game again, reliving the nostalgy. Playing it now i realised, it is a much more complex and beautiful game, something i didn't quiet understand back when i was little.
That's actually a good description. It has a lot of similarities with KOTOR, alignment system included. And the ending decisions + ending itself is a lot similar, you either follow the "good" path and be hailed as a hero or the "evil" path and see your former enemies kneel before you.
