Review of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR 2024.
The mid sized sport SUV-segment is a rather interesting one. A category where the SUV´s aren´t gigantic in size and there is a possibility of taking them to the track and at the same time won´t make you look ridiculous.
So how well does the F-Pace SVR handle when grabbing it hard, is it just a high built model that is here to flatter the customers with its big V8 rumble, or can it share something special among its rivals? I´m getting under its skin and thoroughly finding out. Click play and enjoy!

I bought one of these last October. And I have one word to say about it. Fantastic! It can be quiet as a church mouse or loud as a marching band depending on which mode you have it in… Coming from a BMW X-3 which I thought was a near perfect SUV, this SUV was definitely a pleasant surprise. If you can afford one get one. If you can’t buy new buy used. I hope to see you all out there on the road in your Jaguar SUV’s. 👍🏾!

Great review. I received my 2023 SVR last May (to go with 2023 F-Type P450 I bought the year before). Love it - great combination of brutal performance and luxury. Awesome highway cruiser. Took it on a rainy track day, when didnt want to take F-Type. Track was a little tight, but it blew every one's minds with the sounds and performance. Now talking to my dealer about 2025 P575!

Great review. How is the supercharger lag compared to the turbo lag of the competitors?

Thanks! Much less lag in a supercharger, but the new technical turbos like for instance in the X3 M Competition ia nowadays very rapid. Thanks for watching 🙏

@whatcarwhattime I test drove a 2023 X3 M Comp a couple months ago and was a little disappointed with the turbo lag. I was hoping the SVR might be a little more responsive. I need to line up a test drive for one after watching your review. Might be SVR in my future.

@@chrisdavis811 Yeah, there is always some delay/lag ofcourse. I drove the X3 Comp. on Gotland Ring Raceway and then the lag isnt as apperent when driving it hard. But on the road it might be a little from time to time and depending on situation. The F-Pace SvR has a very strong pull and is very reaponsive. Thats something I brought up in the review, you short shift a lot because it is so strong and the delay isnt realy there in a normally higher gear. Fantastic torque. Hope you get to drive it soon 💪

Excellent review of my currant ride.As a matter of interest what tyres do you have on the test car as they certainly seem to grip in poor conditions.

@@whatcarwhattime I‘m just hearing so many bad reviews from owners. Especially a lot that had to replace engines cause of catastrophic failures. It really makes me think twice about getting that car instead of a new Audi SQ7 TFSI. But I generally really like the Jag. Just scared to end up in a money pit.

@@The_Panda99 These scenarios sounds like very extreme. Should be covered by warranty for sure. SQ7 isnt bad either, but hasn't really got the elegance and raw style like the F-Pace. Its a bit bigger as well and we like lighter ones 😅

@@whatcarwhattime Apparently those big problems occur like almost right after the warranty that JLR gives from what owners say. But yea that’s understandable xD The SQ7 is more of a big traveler car. I’m also looking at a BMW M5 maybe. Do you guys have a video of that one?
