Had my one for a few weeks now. Black 2.7 sport xs on 18” mercury alloys 86000 miles, Gave £1500 for it has full service history. Bought it from a guy who was selling it as it was his fathers car who passed away. First day driving the coolant light came on because the coolant pipe on the right side of the block failed. Spent the last few days doing the repair which consists of removing the aux belt and the power steering pump and a few pipes there is a few forums that consult this issue and the part is known as the water inlet pipe. Besides this the car is top notch. Just glad the part failed early on as I have a big road trip planned in a couple of weeks. Good review

I bought the 2006 V6 SE in dark grey metallic with 134k miles OTC for under £2k last month. FSH and even a 5th alloy in the boot compartment (and mine does have 18 inch alloys). Fabulous car and deffo a future classic. Just had it serviced so now 15 stamps in the book (I'll keep this up)...

Hi there. Really liked all your videos. May I ask how the Jaguar s type 2.7sport compares to the xf 2.7 or 3.0 diesel please. I have an d's version. Thank you

Hi Charles I actually drive an XF 3.0 diesel S, 275 bhp. The torquey engine and 8 speed gearbox in the XF is much more engaging for the enthusiastic driver. The S type sport is a fun drive but the 3.0 engine is light years ahead of the 2.7, while the suspension on the XF is better if you can get one with the XF version of sport suspension. The XF interior is also far superior to the interior of the S type too. But the S type definitely looks more like a classic Jaguar. Hope that gives you some idea - note that I have a comparison video between the XF and the S type coming up soon. Thanks!

@@journeyofapetrolhead Thank you for the reply. I already have a jaguar s type xs edOrion from 2007. Wanted to remap it to 250 no and some more torque. I like the shape.of the s type so much.

Thankyou for the video 👍 The 17” wheels ARE too small for the wheel arches. The sports suspension, IS a much more fun drive. The 2.7 diesel (206 BHP) IS where you need to be The Jaguar DOES sit better/lower on the sports suspension Halogen bulbs? cheaper than Xenons Engine temperature gauge is always a useful item to have My summary: 2007 Liquid Silver 🐆 S Type Diesel Sport with the XS body kit & fitted with 18” wheels and dove 🕊 grey leather interior & optional £2k. satellite navigation. Bought by moi in February 2021, one of, if not the nicest car I have ever purchased 🙃 Ps: just couldn’t find one in the above spec. with a sunroof.....shame.

No copyright content in there. Nothing different in that one to all the other videos. And the video editor tells me there is no audio track. I've no idea what is going on here, and it's hard to find actual official RU-vid help ...
