The XJ6: Awesome. The video was too short. Instead of accelerating the engine it could have at least stated the year model. My first XJ6 was series III, 1984 with a 4.3 liter eng. It did everything I wanted & needed to do with it. My next Jag. was a 1990 XJS 5.3 V12 Conv. a great car, but I dearly missed the second gas tank. I currently drive a 1996 Sovereign 4.0 liter with only 81,420 Kms. Amazingly reliable. And yes, it's British racing green. 🌎
I have a last of the line 1992 V12 Daimler series 3 and I have to say that although my car has only 30 k on the clock , the series 1 is pehaps stirring my soul and setting my trousers on fire a bit more than my Double six does .
It was a great leap forward from cars like the Ford Zodiac and Austin Westminster that were typical of the luxury cars of the time( heavy to drive, not particularly fast, poor handling) and combined performance with excellent handling and refinement,
Absolutely the most stronger model jaguar from Jaguars cars family. My xj6 take me from London to Russia and way back, no issues no problem.. Highly recommended this model
