TOP. Je suis jaloux ...

Good morning gentlemen, beautiful panel work and your gas welding is so good you should not cover it up with bodywork. It should be left for all to see. Thank you for another informative and educational video. You take care and good luck.

Phenomenal. Awesome. Love the videography. I just learned more in one short film than a dozen tutorials. Shots of the gas welding were fantastic, seeing the weld pool form was so enlightening.

verry impressive craftmanship , looking at the side profile i might looked intoo sloping the back of the roof part that he made new down the trunk feathering the shape intoo the ass end of the car and making it look a little more like an x type jag coupe , its verry nicely shaped the way it is now the coupe look might ve made it look a bit faster mightve reduced the curve/dome of the roof some too or at least reduce the amount of roof visable above the side windows its a thing i have with vw bugs too when there chopped the roof looks too poofie for the rest of the part with the windows in it slimming it down would make it look better , either by flattening the roofs curve or lower it near the windows making it turn down more agressivealong its edges to fit

@slgclassiccars4098
@slgclassiccars4098 Год назад

@larrysorenson4789
@larrysorenson4789 Год назад
@@slgclassiccars4098 two simple statements. They are quite clear. I am making, by myself, a small two seat Packard speedster which they never made. My metal work is passable to me and is made at a low cost because I am essentially free. The astonishing skill of the panel beater is mind blowing. It is hard to guess the cost of just that single piece of metal that is featured in the video. I would pay/charge about $125/hour for this consummate craftsman’s time. Let’s say he spent four days, 32 hours hammering and rolling, cutting and welding. You get to my number pretty quickly. Now who would pay that? The patron/customer who wants it, that’s who, nobody else, because he believes it is worth it. And that’s how you justify building a million dollar custom/restored/modified astonishing Jaguar made for a guy who thinks it is worth it. Me, I’ll make my own dream for exactly the same reason. I hope this helps.

That's a special build for a client. I made this for 65€/h, that's what I charge for every single hour I spend for a client, whatever I make. I'm glad to read that you think it worth more 😉
