Good to see another XKR episode again, thanks Simon. I might be wrong but I think those front wheels may have been fitted to the wrong sides and the direction of rotation wrong. Do check when refitting to save embarrassment on pre-MOT day 😊
Hi Robert, Good to hear from you, buddy. That's a great spot there, and you're absolutely right. The rears are on the front and are on the wrong side for good measure 😃
Hi Steve, great to hear from you buddy. My goal is to get the XKR on the road for this summer, but definitely will be restoring the whole underside over the next winter period 👍
Hi, Simon...it's good to see how things are going with the Jag. Moves on. My experience is that the brake cylinders are broken. Inside they are very corroded. The brake hoses should too Can be changed to steel flex. Well, you know. Good luck and have fun at work.
Hi Udo, it's good to hear from you again, buddy. Standing still for so long outside has definitely taken its toll on the underside of the car. At least it gives ne plenty of things to be getting on with and to film 👍
Great video again Simon, doesn't look too bad from here. Definitely get those wheel nuts changed for solid ones, I got ones from that auction site for both my jags, money well spent IMO
Hi John, it's definitely better under there than I was initially expecting. I also agree about the wheel nuts, better to get them changed now while I have them all off 👍
@@projectsinthebarn And I think you were wise not to show the jacking up procedure. The front jacking point seems to raise a lot of debate and is not very clear with the undertray in place!
@andrewgraham4838 totally agree mate, it's just not worth the aggro from people's differing opinions. It shows in the original owners' manual where to do it from, so people can make their own choices 👍
