he was really quirky during the filming of this, the guy in the cell next to me reached out and touched daves shoulder and he freaked out.. was fun filming this at Mira Loma. You see me in this about 10 times (with the long brown hair and beard).
Gives a guy hope to see something truly poetic hit the mainstream, and he didn't even have to say the quiet part out loud. Also helps to know other people think so, too.
That BM was full of shit though. I've been incarcerated a hand full of times, met over a thousand other inmates easy and pretty much all of them were guilty of the crime they were convicted of. Is it disproportionate racially, yes but it has nothing to do with "Rayciss HuWhyte Peepo ™️". I agree that we need to take a different approach to drugs but it doesn't change the fact that the law is the law and if you break it you go to jail and/or prison. Yes we can make the argument about environment but how long are we gonna keep making that excuse¿? You would think eventually things would change because people want better for their communities and themselves but no that doesn't seem to be happening.
@Charles Vinson John what the guy wrote here is from the TV show and he says that to the people from his record company listening and when he plays it for Gata and Benny Blanco, you hear the beat and the song ending and Benny Blanco says all the same shit to Dave that Dave said to the label
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. If you repent from evil ways, believe that Jesus has paid the fine for your sins on the cross and confess Him as your Lord, you will be saved. You see, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, that's why Jesus Christ, fullness of Godhead bodily, lived a perfect life, fulfilled the prophecies and law, shed His Blood at the cross just so you could be forgiven, reconciled back to the Father, receive God's love, be made a new creation, whole, sanctified. It's not about religion and what good works you can do to earn salvation, it's only by grace through faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ. Read God's Word, preferably start with Gospel of John, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you, give you wisdom and revelation that way you're born again and see your life changed by the Spirit of the Most High. I have to respectfully disagree, and say in a completely different way Joyner Lucas is by far a top tier story telling artist and he does it from both sides if duality!! Recommend checking him out if you haven't!
I think he suffers from over criticizing every last detail of his work. Because of this, he struggles to release music very often. Where as rappers that don't care (I can name hundreds that are famous but won't even bother..) they are fine with releasing trash music that's easily forgotten... Dave is the opposite. He's even said it takes him FOREVER to finish new projects cuz he's the type of guy to overly obsess over every last word, the concept, the beat, etc. I totally can relate because I too have that same issue where no matter if a song I make is fire or not.. I still can't accept that it's great, or that I did a great job. I can have 999 people tell me it's fire.. but instead of caring, I'll stress all day about that ONE PERSON who said it sucks! Lil D seems to have that same problem. He needs to drop more music though! This dudes bars are ridiculously good!

The remix you did on pound cake was one of my fav tracks, completely bodied pound cake like no other and everybody in the game remixed that joint. Lil Dicky's career and Dave have become this entangled meta-ball of hip hop absurd hot fire nonsense groundbreaking rap between the show, and his music career. I just hope we get some new music on top of the content we've been given on Dave. No pressure LD.

When i heard the beginning of this on the show i was so hyped up. I love dickys rapping. storytelling ability mixed with the funny witty humor. But he also just has some crazy bars. Idc what anyone says this is fire. Need some new music asap
